The College of Optometrist recommends that all patient’s have their eyes examined and glasses dispensed at the same practice. But why?
1. Comprehensive Personalised Advice
We pride ourselves on understanding in detail your visual and lifestyle requirements. Every step of the journey for an eye examination allows us to gather important information about you, your day - to -day life and any visual difficulties you having. Allowing our Optometrists to seamlessly discuss your needs with our dispensing team, so they are able to recommend the latest frames and lenses that would best suit you.
2. Convenience
Less shopping around is quicker and more convenient. What price do you put on your time? We all have busy lives and a long to-do list, make your life simpler by choosing to have an eye examination where you’re planning on dispensing your glasses. Hopefully that is with us, but we understand we aren’t the perfect fit for everyone.
3. Easier problem solving
Difficulties with your glasses can be tricky to resolve if your glasses were dispensed at a different place to where your eyes were examined. It can be a lot of back and forth and uncertainty of what needs to be done to fix the issue. However, if you choose us for both, most likely you won’t have any problems. In the rare occasion our patients do, we will always make sure to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
4. Consistent Quality Service
Professional, competent and knowledgeable staff are essential when dispensing glasses. Having a great eye examination is only half of it, if your glasses aren’t to the same standard you’re never going to 100% happy.
We hope you found that information helpful. Unfortunately optical practices are designed to need to dispense specs to keep the lights on and doors open. We wouldn’t still be here 40+ years after opening if we only did eye examinations.
Thank you to all our wonderful patients for choosing us!
