Yogabud

Yogabud Yogbud works specifically in a Yin Yoga and Myo Fascial Release form, working more from a therapeutic based practice.

At Yogabud we aim for people to feel confident in their yoga practice, using the time and space with us to move through certain areas of discomfort and pain and explore a differing way of being involved in yoga. Yogabud is for everyone and is a great way to reconnect with our personal self from our everyday self. Yogabud works in a Yin Yoga approach, Yin Yoga is a therapeutic meditative style of yoga that works with the connective tissues, the poses used in Yin Yoga work by moving energy through the body to improve organ health and emotional well being. Yogabud also works in Myo Fascial Release, which is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of the skeletal muscle, this type of therapy helps to relax contracted muscles and stimulate stretch reflex in the muscles. It also is a great way to prepare the body for the Yin practice.

Hey all!

Were back Tuesday for our restart to 26. Were sticking with our winter theme and will still be including lots of meditations for our ending of classes and keeping on mindset on the importance of wintering for our body!

Anyone wanting that bit of extra, our workshops for 26 are - these will be the first 2 of the year then coming back for a Sept and Nov one after.

17/01 Wintering Workshop - 10-12.30pm - rest, restore and understand how we winter down for our final few months of winter sleep.

14/3 - 10-12.30pm - a workshop readying ourselves for spring, moving from rest to explore our fascia and delve into our poses. Following with nidra.

£25 a workshop - tea and fruit to end.

Booking open for both - place secure when payment made. Less space on Januarys workshop!

Book in early to secure your space and dedicate 2.5hrs of kindness to yourself!

Saturday Nov 8th - 10-12.30pm

For those who want to book back on for another dose of restoritive/yin/nidra relax this winter before the madness of December hits then as always let me know and send payment ur usual way.

What it entails for those who dont know!

The first half of the session will be an hour of restoritive yin, moving through a range of fascia and yin poses to relax and open up, exploring the body's energy lines and folding deeper into our practice.

The 2nd half of the class we will take ourselves into a deep meditation using yoga nidra, ending with an extended head massage in shavasana 🙏🏻

We will finish with herbal teas and festive treats and the lovely Natalie Thompson will be sharing some gorgeous Tropic treats!

It's £25 for the session and payment is required when booking.

Refund up to 24hrs in advance of class.

The workshop always has such positive responses, if you wish to attend let me know and I'll book you in.

Were at Garden Village Hall every Tuesday at 6.30pm (minus holidays) practicing yin yoga and a monthly yoga nidra.

Our next Yoga Workshop is November 30th for a rest and restore space, 2.5hrs of total bliss.

Happy New Year Yogis, I became so lapse with our pages due to class brimming along so well in 2023. I am so thankful for all of you that turn up and commit to our space, giving that time to yourself to delve deep into your practise. As we move into 2024 I can't wait to hold space and share more with you all 🙏

What's your hopes for 2024, what's your intention to yourself?

Mine to be more patient, spend more time on my mat and pet more time with dogs 😊

Our first workshop of 2023 is taking place on the 25th Feb - 10.30-1 it is a 2.5hr space with plenty of rest and restore.

The first half of the session will be an hour of yin, moving through a range of fascia poses and yin relax to open up and explore the body's energy lines.

The 2nd half of the class we will take ourselves into a deep meditation using yoga nidra and meditation.

Ending with and extended head massage in shavasana 🙏🏻

We will finish with herbal teas, fruit and nuts.

It's £22.50 for the session and payment is required when booking.

Refund up to 24hrs in advance of class.
