Why bother with AFTERCARE?
Aftercare is critical after laser hair removal & skin rejuvenation treatments but often clients do not realise it's importance, despite it bein re-iterated at the initial consultation.

All new clients at SCLA are given an aftercare document after their consultation and encouraged to put it in a visible place where it can be referred to when required.
( We also have our Aftercare Advice on our website in a downloadable format).

By neglecting Post-Treatment Aftercare, you are doing yourself an injustice!
Clients should always:
⛱Avoid direct or prolonged sun exposure
⚡️Use high SPF (50+)
⭐️Avoid active skincare for several days
💧Keep skin hydrated
🤓Adhere to all the advice given by the therapist and on your aftercare document

Why does it matter?
Poor aftercare can cause:
✖️Pigmentation
✖️Infection
✖️Delayed healing
✖️Poor treatment results

This is why consultations are so important and education is key☺

FORMULATION FRIDAY🧪

I do love making skincare! My 'shed lab' is another happy place☺️
One of the things I marvel at is how the end product always looks so very different from how it starts!
Or how whipping, stirring or homogenising can change the texture of the formulation completely!

I've been busy creating a soothing body butter for my son's eczema, and a lush Anti-Oxidant Day Cream by request.
