Soft Tissue Therapist (Level 5 accredited with the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage) and Personal Trainer with over 6 years experience. My name is Connor Brett, and I have worked in the fitness industry for over 6 years. I am passionate about improving the quality of life for my clients through personalised training and treatment that compliments their lifestyle. Over the years I have developed and refined my training methods which lead to long term results and encouraging clients to realise their innate potential, boost their confidence, and reach their goals. I have trained many clients all in different stages of life, fitness and health- from beginners, those with chronic health conditions or injuries, to athletes. I am proud to offer Soft Tissue Therapy as a Level 5 qualified practitioner with the Insitute of Sport and Remedial Massage. Soft tissue therapy techniques go beyond sports massage and provide an in depth and person-centred approach to treatment of recovery from injury, support for chronic issues, and restoration of joint health and mobility. I offer different packages to utilise both soft tissue therapy and personal training to maximise results more efficiently. I am mainly based in my home clinic in Newmarket, and can also provide regular coaching packages or individualised personal training at Fit Factory (Newmarket). I run a Stretch and Flexibility class weekly on Saturday mornings (9am) at Fit Factory, and a variety of classes at Newmarket Leisure Centre. Class currently starts officially at 9am but in actuality around 9 : 05 am till 10 am upstairs in the studio il lock the main door before beginning but the side door is always open if arriving later. For now class is currently split into two main routines, upper body and lower body alternating each week, for future reference Saturday 7th of February will be lower body . all moves should have progressions, alterations and regressions that can be implemented to suit different needs and while some moves may cause mild discomfort any movements causing pain are to be avoided and replaced .

Thank you to all my clients for a fantastic year, it’s been amazing seeing everyone progress and I wish you all a happy new year. As many of you know I celebrated the arrival of my son Archer last week, and appreciate everyone’s flexibility whilst we welcomed him to our family. I will be back at work Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week coming and then back full time the following week. I will also be restarting the Stretch and Flex class located at Fit Factory on Saturday 10th January. Thank you all for your support.

I am beginning a new mobility class, starting Saturday, January 20th, from 9 am to 10 am. The location will be Fit Factory (5a Victoria Way, Newmarket CB8 7SH near Studlands). The sessions can be used for recovery from your weekly training or daily life, the sole aim of the sessions is to encourage healthy movement patterns.
