(❓) What do farmers really see as the biggest advantage of drone application?

At LAMMA, we asked growers entering our prize draw - and the answer was clear.

More accurate and targeted application was by far the most common response.

Growers also highlighted:
✔️ Access in wet or difficult conditions
✔️ Reduced crop damage and wheelings
✔️ Better coverage in thick canopies
✔️ Faster application timing

It's clear the interest in practical aerial application is growing fast.

We're pleased to announce the winner of our LAMMA Show prize draw.

Congratulations to Joe Mitchell of Hall Farm in Great Yarmouth, who has won a free drone-applied De Sangosse treatment to 20 Ha of his farm, delivered in association with AutoSpray Systems and the AutoSpray Pilot Network.

A big thank you to everyone who entered and told us where they see drone application making a difference on farm. The level of interest and curiosity around this technology was great to see.

Strong starts begin in February 🌱

As crops come out of winter, they're often slower to recover than we think. Cold soils restrict nutrient uptake, rooting takes time to restart, and early sprays need to work first time.

This month we'll be sharing practical tips on:
✔️ Helping crops recover
✔️ Supporting early growth
✔️ Improving spray performance

Because the decisions made now shape the season ahead.

Great to be at the Maize Growers Association Conference today, where growers, agronomists and industry are sharing the latest thinking on maize establishment, nutrition and crop performance.

Our Rod Morris has been talking with visitors about approaches to early rooting and nutrient efficiency, with strong interest in our protected microgranular phosphate fertiliser (Primary-P) and ZC-Tech herbicide safener (Lepton) for helping maize get off to a stronger start.

Always good to be part of practical conversations focused on better crop outcomes.
