Love a good “where’s that coming from then?” job 👀🔧

This week we sorted a fairly heavy oil leak on a Citroen van that was making a proper mess of the engine bay. Oil was pooling around the top of the engine and running down the block – never a great sight when you pop the bonnet.

After tracing it back, we identified the source, replaced the faulty components, cleaned everything down properly and checked over the rest of the system to make sure there were no secondary issues hiding underneath all that oil.

All sealed up, cleaned up and back on the road 👍

🔧 Job from this week – Audi TT PCV Valve Replacement 🔧

This Audi TT came in with running issues caused by a failed PCV valve assembly. A very common problem on these engines, and one that can lead to rough idle, oil leaks, excessive crankcase pressure and fault codes if left unchecked.

The old PCV unit was removed (as you can see from the stripped-down photos), all mating surfaces cleaned, and a new complete PCV assembly fitted to restore correct crankcase ventilation. Everything reassembled, checked, and running exactly as it should 👍

Another job done properly, using the right parts and attention to detail throughout.
