Monday motivation 🙂🥰 nearly this time last year.

“If you want to change, you need to change something”

This year so far has felt so 1 step forward, 15 steps back. It happens. But it doesn’t have to stay like that..

Plans are in place, goals have been set and my health has been prioritised. Most importantly I feel 100% ready to chase the things I’ve set out for myself within my coaching, within helping my girls reach their goals, within my personal life for the next few months📈

Sometimes when you’re in a rut it can feel safer to stay there.
I can’t pretend I don’t feel anxious about change, but you have to change to grow, and sometimes things have to get uncomfortable to get better❤️‍🩹

holiday is over 🌧️ but i’m back & so buzzing to start seeing my pt girlies and catch up with my online clients tomorrow 💘

reset was needed
easing back in now is also needed❤️‍🩹
my health and mental health is my priority for the next few weeks (and forever really🫣)

still not sure what’s actually officially wrong with me but blood tests, x-rays & more appointments to follow. the Dr i saw the day i flew to cyprus thinks it’s linked to my autoimmune system & an issue there linked with a couple of tough months, my body not handling my stress/mental fatigue efficiently🫠

excited for the next few months with the team & getting ready for summer 🥰🫶

February 1st💘💘
Lets solidify that january fresh start routine and keep building on it ladies
Lifestyle change, continual improvements inside and out. Not just for the first four weeks of the year 😌

How did it go for you?
Did you stick to what you said you were going to?

For me January was very up and down🫶

⭐️my busiest month of pting i’ve ever had, arguably the best month of my coaching career. which has been amazing! i feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to have helped so many people begin/continue their fitness joureys

❤️‍🩹sickness, injuries & emotional fatigue has been hard to manage this month. put a lot of pressure on myself, i always do & it always pays off but it can get heavy.

⭐️made some amazing memories, new friends & continue to build relationships up

❤️‍🩹body image issues n mentally beating myself up a lot🫠

⭐️dieting for my holiday and it not taking over my whole life, finding a balance & making it work.

❤️‍🩹sleep routine was not there🫣 & i also crashed my car into a tree 😒😒😒

⭐️quality time with Lew, no matter how tired, busy, sick, bitchy or moany (either of us) are. we never let eachother down on this non negotiable💘

For Feb, I’m just so excited. Beautiful day for the first day of my fave month (mamas bday, my bday🎉)

Lots of things to look forward to🫶 Continuing to help my girls n guys work towards their best selves, continuing to work towards my best & happiest version of me💘, hopefully less injuries, stress & sickness🤞more hip thrusts & lateral raises and less beating myself up😌

It’s not too late to start now🥰 January was either your head start or your practice run🙃

macro tracked (unaesthetically pleasing) rest day✌️

i will happily eat any meal for ‘breakfast’ and i have also received enough abuse on the mince n rice as my first meal topic from my girls in our groupchat (and on some check in forms😅) this week.

i’m tracking daily, excluding one off plan meal per week. i save the majority of my carbs and cals for dinner with Lew so it can be a little more exciting than chicken n rice 🌶️

if i was on contest prep, id follow a set meal plan because it’s easier if someone else does the thinking for me. but im not, im just trying to lose a few kgs before we fly to Cyprus, so macro tracking is the approach im using. It allows me to be social, flexible & enjoy foods whilst still making progress towards my goal🫶

Tips:

⭐️input foods in before your day even starts. then you won’t be caught trying to make a meal out of awkward calories & macro targets
⭐️be sensible with spending your calories. if you’re not on a great deal and you’re feeling hungry throughout the day, don’t pick a gr***de bar - actually eat a meal. volume is your friend✌️
⭐️be honest with yourself, track the small things! be as accurate as possible.

my girls all smashing it!!! 💞💞 some feedback from this weekends check ins⬆️

my favourite part of my job is getting close to my girls and creating a bond and a safe space for them. i’m very big on the personal side of personal training🥰 it’s so much more than meal plans and 60 mins of “1 more rep”🥹

helping my girls realise their own potential and capabilities, finding their love for themselves and helping them grow. it’s team work🫶 & my girls are growing the most amazing supportive community👩‍💻👭💞

forever grateful for every client(/friend) who’s put their trust in me to help them with their individual journeys. it’s a privilege to be part of it & to get to know and work with such strong minded inspirational women🥰🥰🥰

i am a morning person because my first client is usually between 5&6am Monday-Friday.

There’s always been a weird stigma that getting up early correlates to having your s**t together.

but just because you don't get up at 4-5am doesn't mean you aren't productive or you're being lazy
as long as you give yourself the time in your day to tick the boxes you need to tick, and tick well, it doesn't matter.

if you're not getting up early because you are snoozing your alarm, you're just putting yourself in the position where you'll probably be chasing your tail to get things done all day. which will effect the quality of your work. in this case grow up and get up when your alarm goes off!

your schedule & timings need to suit you and allow you to be YOUR most productive

earlier isn't always better if you're not actually utilising the hours & would benefit more from a longer sleep!

The people around you can’t bring you up ⬆️ unless that’s where you want to go.

Surrounding yourself with winners 🏆 won’t automatically make you a winner.

We talk a lot about your circle, your environment and how much impact this has - and i do not dispute that because it is very important🙂..

BUT if you lack the drive, the mindset and the focus to get to where you want to be, those people won’t get you there🫠

If you want to have a table of winners, make sure you earn your seat and you’re not just riding on coat tails🌝
