I passed my driving test at 60. I totally believe that we are our own worst enemies, I was told for a long time that I was not good enough/not bright enough/not capable. I think I frightened my family.

My husband said (to others) that I would never drive. Don't tell me that, I will do it. Scared, yes. But I did it.

What about you? Who told you 'no!'. You did it though. Its ok to be fearful. That's life. But to hide away? Nah.

ITV Studios Daytime are looking for a talented Junior Creative to join ITV Studios Daytime’s Promos team.

The ITV Studios Daytime Promos slate includes programmes such as; Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women, programmes which run 52 weeks a year. Alongside our traditional production teams we also have in-house and dedicated Graphics, Post Production, Studio Crew and Support teams, all play an equally important role in ensuring we go to air each and every day.

You will already be an established Junior Creative who is looking for their next challenge. You will also work with the Creatives in the department to help implement the ITV Daytime promotional strategy, devising 360 campaigns that are original, on brand and in budget, whilst working with our award winning, in-house team of creatives, producers, editors and motion graphic designers.

August's full moon is called the Sturgeon Moon - named after the giant sturgeon fish which were often caught in the Great Lakes of North America during this part of summer. The Sturgeon Moon rounds out this year’s parade of four supermoons - which started in May!

SOUTH WALES POLICE REMIND PEOPLE THAT E-SCOOTERS ARE STILL ILLEGAL TO RIDE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🛴 With the school holidays in full swing, SWP want to take the opportunity to remind everyone of the law: that e-scooters cannot be ridden legally on public roads in South Wales.

Because of the way e-scooters are motorised, they are technically classed as a type of motor vehicle. This means they need things such as insurance, licensing, registration, and various other things.

E-scooters can't be legally used anywhere on public land – so they can't be ridden on public roads, pavements, parks, or elsewhere. If they are used on private land, it needs the landowner's permission first.

Government pilot schemes to allow e-scooters to be rented legally are taking place in some parts of England, but no such trials are taking place in Wales.

Remember, e-scooters also don’t always have in-built safety measures such as signalling ability or visible rear lights. Riders also often don’t have appropriate safety equipment, and riding them may put other road users at risk.

Please, don't risk your safety or that of others (including your children). Or the possibility of having your e-scooter seized by using it on public roads.
