🌿 A Gentle but Important Update from The Wellness Barn 🌿
At The Wellness Barn, we’ve always prided ourselves on being understanding, flexible, and compassionate — especially when life throws unexpected things our way. We know that illness, family commitments, and sudden changes happen, and we’ve always tried to support our clients as best we can.
However, in the current climate, last‑minute cancellations are having a real impact on our small business. Even just two cancellations a day can mean a loss of £400–£600 per week. Over the course of a year, this adds up to a significant amount — especially at a time when all business overheads have increased.
To ensure we can continue offering the treatments, courses, and nurturing space you all love, we now need to enforce our existing deposit and cancellation policy more consistently.
💛 What this means going forward
- Deposits will now be required and non‑refundable for short‑notice cancellations.
- If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice so we have a chance to refill your appointment.
- Cancellations within 48 hours will unfortunately result in the deposit being retained, regardless of the reason.
This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly — it’s one made out of necessity to protect the future of The Wellness Barn. Without these boundaries, we simply wouldn’t be able to continue offering the pampering, care, and support that our lovely clients deserve.
