Hey! As I start up yoga classes in Newport, I thought I’d share a little bit of my yoga journey. Yoga has been a big part of my life and are incorporated into some of my earliest memories. Growing up with a yoga therapist as a mother, I was doing baby yoga on VHS tapes and joining her sessions before I could talk. Yoga has always been my safe place to self regulate, centre and come back into my body when my head starts to take over. That is why it is an honour to be able to teach and bring that to new people. I spent my summer traveling in India and gained my 200Hr Yoga teacher training in Hatha, Vinyasa, meditation and breath-work in Goa, and look forward to continue learning. And now I’m bringing all that to Newport Rock! If you’re an avid yogi already, or like to try something new to enhance your week, I’d love to meet you through one of the sessions!
