Tonight was our final paint like an artist series. We have throughly enjoyed it and I think we can confidently say so did everyone that came.
Picasso, Van Gogh and Banksy were our inspiration this summer.
But many more artists to try out in the future? Who would you like to recreate?

Paint like Picasso workshop masterpieces

Mums, Dads, sons, daughters and new friends came to today to learn all about the work of Pablo Picasso and Cubism.
One Dad hadn’t done any art work since 1986 and another person 1996 at school.
Thank you to Marie for leading the session.

We understand that opening up to a complete stranger can be tough – and that’s why we’ve got an alternative option for you. Our small support peer group sessions are a fantastic way to connect with others who might be going through similar challenges.

At our Express Yourself Sessions, we start with a “check-in” – a chance for everyone to share how they’re feeling (good week, bad week, or anything in between). But don’t worry, there’s absolutely no obligation to talk if you’re not comfortable doing so.

During the session, we’ll use a combination of verbal expression and art to help you explore your thoughts and feelings. It’s a great way to get creative, de-stress, and connect with others in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

And we finish each session with a “check-out”, giving everyone the chance to share how they feel after experiencing some mindfulness and art. So what are you waiting for? Come join us and let’s de-stress together!

The sessions will be ran by 2 facilitators.

Our 4-week course will take place at The Nook wellbeing and creative space in Perranporth – so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot.

It cost around us around £960 for a 6 week course for venue hire, materials and staff costs. Which would be around £27 per person per week. So we are asking for a ‘Pay what you can’ donation, suggested minimum donation £10 per week, £40 for this summers 4 week Course.

Hello there wonderful people.

Please bear with us while the team are managing some complex personal issues.

We have had to place YAC activities on hold until we are able to obtain more funding and volunteer staffing to assist us, due to this.

We understand how frustrating and upsetting this is to people but we have worked voluntarily for YAC for 4 years now and have thrown our souls into this project. So please be kind if we are unable to respond ina timely fashion at this moment.

Thank you for your time

🎨 Michael Mules’ Art Exhibition 🌟

We’re shining a spotlight on Quiet Connector Michael Mules, a talented Cornish artist whose work explores disability and inclusion. Michael’s upcoming exhibition in Penzance (5th-17th April) offers a glimpse into his world through powerful and thought-provoking artwork.

A percentage of the profits will go to Active8, a Cornish disability youth charity, making this exhibition even more meaningful.

Remember, anyone who’s in Cornwall, please please come to the SEND demo at County Hall, Truro tomorrow 10-12.30. With your support we CAN make changes.

Media will be there (including ITV News and the BBC) from 9.30 if you want to come and speak to them and maybe stop some of the counsellors and tell them why you are there.

Make your own banner or choose one of the many we have been making tonight.

But mostly, bring everyone you can. The kids, the parents, the neighbours! Get everyone marching to say we have had enough of SEND children being damaged by a system that is not fit for them to thrive.

Please share far and wide and get as many people there as possible
