Last time I visited .urban.spa was just before winning Best Sauna Practitioner of the Year at the Sauna Summit.

I had just travelled up from Cornwall and across London to Hackney Downs, so my nervous system was over stimulated and in need of regulating.

Revitalise Urban Spa was just the tonic. We entered into the darkness of this beautiful and stylish place. The well designed sleek lines, accentuated with plants, was a peaceful haven and an urban sanctuary, welcoming me to balance my senses and come back to myself. The gentle jazz playing in the background helping me to relax.

So I am super stoked to be heading there on 22 May to guide a ritual in the beautiful space. I’ll be bringing a slice of Cornwall with me, with scrubs foraged and made on the North Cornwall coastline, and whisks gathered from the woodlands nearby.

Join me next weekend for a series of sauna rituals in Sennen, Penzance and Falmouth, bathing in the abundant energies of May and connecting with all that Nature has to offer at this time of year.

🔥 On Friday 8 May, I’m super stoked to be guiding my first ritual .sauna. Sennen Beach has a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to connect in with the magic of this beautiful place.

🔥 Saturday 9 May is a return to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens with the ever fabulous The views of St Michael’s Mount and the bay are next level, and the gardens are a sub-tropical heaven of woodland bathing.

🔥 On Sunday 10 May, I close the weekend with a ritual This Cornish Sanctuary with the view of the docklands has a secret beach feel to it, invoking calm and tranquility. The perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate.

to last year and winning Best Sauna Practitioner of 2025 at the British Sauna Summit.

This last year has been an epic adventure of meeting so many wonderful sauna communities and bringing the healing nature of ritual to them. The Walled Garden Sauna, a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. Nestled amongst the trees it offers you a moment to rest and recover. The perfect place to bathe and connect with Nature.

Allow me to guide you through a two hour guided ritual of hot and cold therapy in this beautiful place. A multi- sensory experience to soothe the mind and cleanse the body, with body scrubs made from foraged seasonal flowers and herbs, and whisks to welcome in the green as it returns to the land.

An invitation to release and let go, not only of the toxins on our skin and in our body, but our minds too. Bathing in the Löyly, relaxing into the heat, becoming more receptive to our natural environment.

We are not separate from nature.
We are nature.

Mother Nature gives us all that we need, if only we might notice and accept it. The offering of plants and herbs, to nourish our minds and bodies, to give gentle respite to the modern world and our busy lives.

April begins with a step outside my comfort zone, as I share my story and personal journey “From Trees to Leaves: tree surgeon to sauna master” on Thursday 2 April in Penzance at The Union Hotel.

From there I step into a month of sauna rituals, treatments and massages in and around Dorset.

Join me as the green of the trees slowly returns. Let’s bathe in the warmth of the sauna, connecting with ourselves and each other, setting intentions for the months ahead and moving towards the light of the sun.

With foraged body scrubs to cleanse away the old and sauna whisks to invigorate the new, we can step into this Spring awakening feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, ready for the months ahead, connected with all that the forest has to offer.
