Good morning folks ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’—โœจ

The day is finally upon us - can you believe it?

I pulled this card from the deck last night and it couldnโ€™t be more relevant.

Temperance is a card of balance. The balance balance of masculine and feminine, of the light and the dark, of the yin and the yang.

Today is Solstice. The shortest/longest day of the year depending on where we are on the planet.

Here in the northern hemisphere we have the longest period of darkness of the year. To me this represents the feminine polarity of rest, beingness, the planting of seeds and setting of intentions, nurturing.

We are meant to use this time of shorter days and longer nights to honour our need for all of the above.

We must balance the masculine and feminine within.

Temperance is also a card of alchemy. The mixing together and blending of two energies to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts.

This again can refer to the mixing of masculine and feminine but also it refers to the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter today. Two very different planets. โ€˜The great beneficโ€™ and โ€˜the great maleficโ€™ coming together at zero degrees of Aquarius.

Itโ€™s like the Universe is using the carrot and the stick to usher us into the New Age of Aquarius.

Finally, in the background of the picture is a winding road leading up through the mountains towards the sun on the horizon symbolising the long and winding road and the mountains that have to be climbed in order to reach enlightenment.

This year has certainly contained many twists and turns and we still have some way to go before we reach our final destination of Heaven on Earth or the โ€˜Golden Ageโ€™.

Today is a marker, a starting point. But there is still work to do and obstacles to be overcome before the New Earth will really come into full swing.

So happy Solstice/Conjunction folks! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’—โ˜€๏ธโ„๏ธโœจ

Card of the Day (Major Arcana Series): Death

The death card is nothing to fear, just as death itself is nothing to fear.

The death card symbolises Scorpio energy - death, rebirth and transformation. It indicates the end of one chapter and the start of a new one.

It indicates that you are reaching the end of a situation/set of circumstances that is no longer serving you and it is time to let go and make room for something new to enter your life - something more appropriate and fulfilling.

Death and change are unavoidable in life. If we resist them we can experience pain but if we embrace them we can make the necessary transitions of life with ease and grace.

Leaving the past behind creates space for new adventures and opportunities. we must close one door before we can open another.

This can be seen as an opportunity for cleansing your life of negative habits and patterns of behaviour that do not serve you and paving the way for a deeper, healthier and more meaningful experience of life to emerge.

Card of the Day (Major Arcana Series): Temperance

Temperance is a card of balance, patience and moderation.

We see an angel, who is a balance between masculine and feminine, standing with one foot on the rocks (grounded) and the other foot in the water (in flow).

On her chest we see a triangle (humanity) inside a square (meaning bound by the earth and natural laws).

She is pouring from one cup into another, representing mixing and alchemy of different energies.

Behind her is a path leading up through the mountains (a journey through life) towards the sun (fulfilment and enlightenment).

This card is a sign that it is time to stabilise your energy. You have a clear long term vision and, in order to achieve your goal, you are going to have to follow a path of moderation.

When your energy is stable and balanced, you are able to put your life in order.

Having abundant patience and calmness in the face of stress, adversity and chaos means that things in the outside world simply don't get to you.

You are bringing people/energies together to create peace and harmony. Working together means that you can blend various talents and skills to create something that is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

You are avoiding being overly controversial and opinionated and instead you are following the middle path, the path of the yogi.

You are following your true purpose, at peace with what you are doing and listening to your inner guidance ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Card of the day (Major Arcana Series): Judgement

The judgement card represents a rebirth, an awakening and absolution.

It calls you to listen to your inner calling and step up into a higher level of consciousness and a higher version of yourself.

It asks you to listen to your inner calling and step into your spiritual purpose.

This card appears when you have reached a crossroads and have to make a life altering decision. You need to use both your intuition and your intellect. You must tune into your higher self for guidance and take the necessary action in service to Spirit.

You are nearing approaching a significant turn in your journey and you have learned from your past experiences.

You have healed your wounds and put the sadness of the past behind you.

You have found absolution cleared your karma, releasing all guilt, leaving you refreshed and invigorated to face the new challenges of life.

You may also benefit from sharing your experiences in a group setting and letting yourself receive guidance form those who have walked a similar path.

This card is really calling out to me right now as I am in fact stepping into my purpose as a spiritual teacher/healer after many years of contemplating such a move.

It is happening right now as Uranus (the planet of sudden change and reformation) is conjunct my Midheaven (which rules your public image and career).

this means Uranus is also opposite my IC (which represents home in the natal chart) so we are moving house also at this time. So a big career change and. house move at the same time...

Wish me luck! โœจ

Card of the Day (Major Arcana Series): The Moon.

The Moon represents intuition, dreams, illusions, fears, anxiety and the unconscious.

This card appears when you may be projecting fear into your present and future based on past events that resulted in painful emotions that were repressed instead of healed.

This card is calling you to connect with your subconscious mind and heal the wounds that need to be healed so that you can remove mental blocks and negative energy that may be affecting your life and your ability to move forward.

The Moon encourages you to listen to your intuition, to trust your feelings and to follow your dreams.

It is also a call to tune into the lunar cycles and use them for conscious manifestation.

Card of the Day (Major Arcana Series): The Star

The Star card represents hope, faith, purpose, renewal and spirituality.

The naked woman (nakedness representing purity and egolessness) is pouring water from two jugs.

She has turned towards the pool of water, pouring her energy into that which is enriching the land and giving life.

She has turned her back on the dry land which is no longer serving her, the land of the ego.

She is focused on that which is life giving, which is nurturing to the soul. She is becoming her true Self and casting the ego aside along with its limiting beliefs and delusions.

The star above her represents her soul star and the seven stars surrounding it, the seven chakras.

She is on a profound spiritual journey where she will see the rewards of focusing her love and attention in the right direction.

She is generous of spirit and the more she waters her life, and the life of everything around her, the more the will reap the rewards.

Card of the Day (Major Arcana Series): The Fool

The Fool is a card of new beginnings, optimism, confidence, self belief and innocence.

The Fool is joyfully following his heart and setting out on his journey without a care in the world. He is not yet aware that he is about to step off a cliff into the unknown but you know the saying 'jump and the Universe will catch you'.

The fool carries nothing but a knapsack and a white rose. The minimalism represented by the knapsack explains that we don't need much in life and that we should travel light. We don't need to have everything in place before setting out on a new adventure. The white rose represents his purity and innocence. He is not yet aware of the obstacles and problems he may encounter on his journey. He is living in the moment.

The Fool card is associated with the number 0 which represents unlimited potential. We don't yet know what the Universe has in store at this point. Anything is possible. The world is his oyster.

The dog represents loyalty meaning that, no matter what happens, he will have support along the way. The Universe has his back.

On the flip side, the Fool may want to look before he leaps. Perhaps he is taking too many risks without thinking of the consequences for himself and others. Maybe he should think things through a little to avoid leaping into disaster...

Card of the day (Major Arcana Series): The World

I love how my life is being reflected in the Tarot right now.

The Tarot never lies!!

The World represents completion, harmony, balance, integration achievement and peace.

You have reached (or are very close to reaching) the end of a journey. You have achieved that which you have set out to achieve and now you are (or soon will be) basking in the joy of your accomplishment.

The woman is dancing in the middle of a wreath - the wreath represents celebration and things coming full circle.

She is holding two wands representing the plan which she set in motion with the magician.

The four creatures in each corner represent the four elements of life, the four suits of Tarot and the four fixed signs of the zodiac. In order to become balanced and achieve wholeness we must balance all the elements of life. This, to me, is the essence of spirituality, reflected in astrology, Ayurveda the chakra system and many other health/spiritual practises and is the meaning of the mantra 'Om Namah Shivaya'.

At this point, it is wise to pause and reflect on your journey, to acknowledge trials and tribulations, the lessons learned and the wisdom gained. Take some time to enjoy the fruits of your labour and the feeling of fulfilment before moving on to a new project.

Yes, the World also represents new beginnings for, as one cycle is completed, another one begins.

This card is highly relevant right now on both a personal and collective level. Globally, we have come to the end of the Piscean Age and are entering the new Age of Aquarius.

Personally, I am reaching the end of a phase of my life. I have some loose ends to tie up before the end of the year and I intend to take some time out before beginning a whole new chapter.

Card of the day (Major Arcana Series): The Tower

I smile as I see this card jump out of the deck this morning as it makes perfect sense to me!

Being a Scorpio moon, I am very familiar with the energy that this card represents: A sudden collapse, upheaval, chaos, disruption, revelations and having the rug pulled from underneath. In a more evolved way, the Tower can represent a spiritual awakening

This is closely linked to Scorpio energy of death and re-birth, of detective work and the bringing to light of the shadow aspects of self.

And what do we have this weekend? A new moon in Scorpio! In fact, this weekend, the Sun, Moon and Mercury all fall in the sign of Scorpio so we are in for an intense time!

The Tower experience is one where we realise that a situation or maybe even our entire lives are built on a lie or an illusion. What appeared to be a solid structure is now collapsing because it has been built on shaky foundations.

Disaster is inevitable and there is no choice but to surrender to the chaos and destruction. The positive side of this is that it will clear a space for you to re-group, a space for new growth, new beginnings and soul evolution.

I have been envisaging the Tower all year in meditation in relation to world events. The structures that are in place are indeed built upon very shaky foundations: lies, deceit, corruption, egotism and suppression of the Divine. This is the year it has all come to a head. The shadow aspects of those in power have been laid out clearly on the table for all to see. It has been a mass awakening.

Many refuse to look, however. They do not want to see the lies because they lack the maturity to face the truth. The lies of the world reflect the lies within themselves and anyone who has not done the work of dealing with their own shadow will not be able to accept the truth about the society they live in either.

These people are likely to experience the most pain of all.

"Whatever you resist persists" is a slogan that has been mis-represented by the New Age community. What it really means is that whatever lessons you resist learning will persist in being presented in your life as painful experiences and cycles that will not be broken until you face and accept whatever truth needs to be understood.

The governments and the elites of our world are facing that moment right now. This year we have had the repeating Saturn - Jupiter - Pluto conjunction in the sign of Capricorn, the father of the zodiac associated with authority. These structures and people are having their secrets exposed on a huge scale and they are going to crumble.

This is all paving the way for a new beginning. A new earth that we will build on a solid foundation of truth, freedom and love.

A few months ago I asked for guidance about how all of this would end. The message I received was "It will end with fire and water".

Look at the image on this card. Could this be the beginning of the end?

Bring it on! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒŠโœจ

Card of the day (Major Arcana Series): The High Priestess

The High Priestess, in a nutshell, symbolises intuition.

She sits in front of a veil between the conscious and subconscious mind. Behind this veil lies mystery, hidden knowledge and secrets which only those with awakened intuition can access.

The crescent moons represent her connection to nature and the cycles of the moon. The moon relates to nurturing, emotions and hidden aspects of our being.

On either side of the veil is a pillar - one white and one black. This represents the masculine and feminine, the yin and the yang, which must be balanced in order for us to access our centre which is the place from where we act in accordance with the totality of our being.

This card is associated with clairvoyants , psychics and healers.

I have psychic abilities indicated all over my natal chart, including pre-cognition and strong intuition about the wounds of others.

This card tells you when it is time to take a step back form the outside world, to listen to your intuition and tend to your emotional needs ie to tune into the Divine Feminine within which is the home of deep wisdom.
