Hello, My name is Emma Byrne, and I’m the mother of two beautiful boys, Reuben, who is 4 and Chester, who is 2.
Twelve weeks ago, we lost Chester to B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. During his five-and-a-half-week stay, the staff on the Haematology Ward at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children became like family. What they do for children and parents is nothing short of incredible, and now, my husband David and I want to give something back.
We’re planning a series of charity nights and fundraising events to raise money for gifts for children and parents currently on the ward. Every single penny raised will be used directly for that purpose — 100% will go to supporting those families walking the hardest road.
We’re reaching out for help to parents, business owners and the general public— if you can donate a raffle prize, a gift, your time, or a token of kindness, please message our page Chesters Chance or contact our Campaign Manager Eimear Sloan at It's Eimear's Designs directly.
Thanks to all of you, we’ve already raised over £25,000 for The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity. Now we’re focusing on those who helped us most at the toughest time in our lives.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued support and please show us some love and give this post a like and share.
