Activities like these are a brilliant way to keep minds active, bodies moving, and spirits high… although we may need a rematch after a few disputed scores!

It was so great to have our “official” opening ceremony last week (even though we’ve been open since January!)
Thank you to everyone who has made this possible, we are all so excited about what the future will bring.
Our rooms are filling up fast, but we do still have availability, including in two bungalows which are semi-independent so perfect for couples.

‘I was delighted to re-open Tracey House Residential Home last week and welcome its first resident. June and I cut the ribbon on a beautiful sunny morning in the lovely grounds.

We’re very fortunate the home will continue to serve our community, with owners committed to keeping residents connected locally.

A weekly lunch club runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12pm - 3pm, open to all but limited to eight places. Contact the home for details.

It was heartwarming to see local nursery children playing in the garden with residents on opening day, something that will now happen regularly.

Last week, under the beautiful Spring sunshine, we celebrated the official opening of Tracey House. Residents, family, friends, staff both old and new, children from our community, the RNLI, and our wonderful Bovey Tracey Mayor, Councillor Sheila Brooke, joined us for this joyful occasion.

The moment was made even more special when June, our very first resident, alongside the Mayor, cut the ribbon and declared Tracey House officially open - a warm, welcoming home for all who join us.

Spring is spoiling us with vibrant gardens and nature’s bounty, and our residents are delighting in every moment of this beauty.

We would love to share this happiness with you! Come visit, explore our home, join our lunch club, or simply see how we create a place where everyone feels cared for and truly at home.

One of the highlights of the week was a visit from a local childminding group. Singing, games, stories and some lovely cuddles with our residents. It was such a joy to hear the fun and laughter through the home.

So whether you're a permanent resident, or just with us for a bit of respite, you can be sure we'll be helping you find your perfect nights rest. 😴
