A beautiful day for a relaxing trip to Coed-y-dinas. We had a short detour due to traffic delays, but that was very scenic & we were still sitting down to lunch by 12.30!
We enjoyed our time browsing & discovering the price of various items including lettuce & root veg seeds plus clothing & shoes. One resident recollected wearing hobnail boots. No velcro back then! Were they comfy?!! "Not too bad".
We bumped into family members & had a chat, which was great.
And of course, we had our planned detour up to the stunning Powis Castle on our return journey.
Residents said they had thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their day.
So many opportunities to reminisce including about Coed-y-dinas farm plus seeing how things had changed.
