Right now, where I am, my competing days or interest for that, is done. My outmost focus now with my own satisfaction, is to get stronger, remain strong, and still look, quite simply, masculine.

That’s always been my desire and goal. To look masculine and to be masculine. It’s really that f*****g simple.

My focus is also now towards all my clients. Giving them my full focus and attention, to make them the best individuals they can be.

I’ve been there. I’ve lost the weight. I’ve gained the muscle. I’ve gotten strong. I’ve walked on stage. I’ve done photoshoots, the lot. I’m done.

What it takes…

We are coming up to the season now for the start of prep for many. Others, the start of diets in time for their summer holidays, maybe a photoshoot, or just to feel more confident about themselves.

Each goal or objective, is what I like to call “ Levels “. Each level requires an X amount of dedication, work, time delegating & orientation around your life in order to achieve the look.

Here’s my assessment:

Level 1: This would be wanting to lose fat, look slim, flatter stomach, more confident in clothes for summer holidays etc.

Level 2: going further than looking slim, looking lean, some viable abs snd some muscle definition. You train at a gym and eat well.

Level 3: going into beach body + photoshoot ready state. Body fat around 12-15% maybe. You have abs, muscle is “ somewhat “ defined all over.

Level 4: Stage ready. This is next level dedication. Body fat in the single digits, not just leanness but dry grainy look to the physique, muscle Striations, veins etc.

Each “ level “ has one thing in common with another. They’re require you to take self responsibility. They require you to make a commitment not just to yourself, but a commitment out to your peers as well.

You will come across videos of coaches telling everyone that “ with them, you can diet easy, and still enjoy the foods you like and still reach the same goals you want “.

Most of the time, they’re simply selling a fantasy. This is not reality.

It’s hard, it takes mental and physical resilience, and it requires you to not be a slave to your basic temptations.

Going into this season or the start of your diet, accept the fact that days you will be miserable. You will be sore, and you will suffer to some degree. However, this will be one of the most self rewarding things you’ll endeavour on, and you can take self pride at the end when you’ve achieved what you set out to. The photos and memories will last your life span.
