How Often Do We Let Ourselves Down?
How often do we really stop and think about the moments in our lives when we let ourselves down? The times we sacrificed our own peace, our own truth, or our own joy for the sake of someone else’s perspective? How often have we allowed others to convince us that their point of view is the only correct one, even when it left us drained, anxious, sleepless, or overwhelmed with worry?
Think back to those times in your life when things weren’t going right. When situations didn’t work out, and you couldn’t figure out why. Perhaps you asked yourself: Did I do something wrong? Could I have acted differently? Was there something I missed?
Now think—what if you had trusted your gut? What if you had listened to yourself instead of allowing doubt and fear to guide your decisions?
