🩷We see you. Even on the days you don’t really want to get out of bed yourself. Even when you’re tired, drained, or carrying things no one else can see.

You still show up. You still help someone get on with their day, their routine, their life. You still offer reassurance, patience, and care, even when you feel like you’re running on empty.

Care work isn’t for everybody and that’s okay! This job takes a certain kind of person. It takes patience, empathy, emotional strength, and the ability to stay kind on the hard days.

If you work in care, you should be really proud of yourself. You’re doing something not everyone is capable of, and it matters more than you probably realise. It certainly doesn’t go unnoticed here.

We’re recruiting carers for a person living with Locked-In Syndrome.

Let’s clear something up 👇
1-1 or 2-1 care does not automatically mean aggression, behaviours, or crisis care.

Sometimes it simply means:
• Someone needs constant physical support
• Someone is fully aware but unable to move or speak
• Someone deserves time, patience, dignity and consistency

What this role is:

✔ Calm, structured, one-to-one support
✔ Assisting with personal care, comfort and daily routines
✔ Supporting communication (eye-gaze, blinking, technology)
✔ Being present — reassurance matters just as much as tasks

What this role is not:

🚫 No challenging behaviour
🚫 No rushing between calls
🚫 No task-stacking pressure
🚫 No “fire-fighting” care

This is relationship-based care.
The kind where slowing down is part of doing the job properly.

Who we’re looking for:

🚨”Here why are yous ALWAYS recruiting?”

We hear it weekly. Sometimes daily. Sometimes shouted in the comments 👀

Short answer:
Because care doesn’t wait… and carers don’t grow on trees 🌳

Long answer:
We do bespoke 1:1 (Runs) and 24-hour care not the “7 visits, 3 carers, no kettle time” type.
Right now we’ve a waiting list of people ready for care, just sitting there like:
“Any chance, or…?” 😬

This isn’t staff fleeing the scene 🏃‍♂️
It’s us expanding(140 staff just isn’t enough) & because we refuse to:

❌ Chuck staff in blind
❌ Pretend complex care is “grand sure”
