Namaste is one of my most favourite words which I use on a daily basis. It can mean so many different things to each person but to me when I have written and produced a meditation at the end I say it as 'I bow to you' for me I'm saying I respect your journey, I see your soul, I hope that I've guided you well, I hope the peace and balance is with you now.

Meditation is amazing but there are so many different types of meditation so one kind of meditation might not be for someone else. I personally write creative visualisations, I also work metaphorically and rarely use direct suggestions when I do hypnosis. I specialise in anxiety, panic attacks and depression and all of the emotions that surround those experiences. Mental illness, is STILL misunderstood, it IS a serious illness and TOO many people suffer alone and in silence. You do not have to suffer alone, help can be just one call away and when you call someone who like me works in helping people to recover you will ONLY get a warm and friendly supportive person on the end of the phone. We will never judge you, we will listen, we will support you and you most definitely won't be telling us something we haven't heard before, even though you will think it is. If a therapist you call doesn't make you feel heard and supported, they are not for you. If you are suffering, please get help, you are so worthy of feeling better.

Anxiety isn't just mentally painful, it can be very physically painful too. Many people suffer from somatic pain and sensations, this means that to them it truly feels like the anxiety is having a physical effect upon them. Anxiety can stop you from doing the things you love, you can become anxious about going places incase you feel anxious, you can loose contact with friends and family because they don't understand and perhaps you feel to embarrassed to tell them because they may not understand, but, the cycle continues if unbroken.Even if you have tried other methods of treatment, it is never the end, there is always a different route to recovery. I use the word healing all the time, but what does it mean? To me it means that you have seen yourself and recognised that you have been unwell, be that mentally or physically and it's time now to recover, it's time to heal. A lot of the time when we are unwell we do not see ourselves, because to do so would require an admittance and perhaps even a feeling that some how you have failed and lots of people who have not experienced mental illness love to offer their often unhelpful advice. It's normally easy to focus on other people, other things that enable you to have a temporary fix, instead of accepting that you have been and are unwell and that you need to take some time to heal, and to allow your mind and body to recover. You are so worthy of healing, you are so worthy of the time it will take and you deserve to live the life you want to live without suffering. Is it time for your healing? Namaste

'When you're feeling low' I always write meditations and hypnosis that is aimed directly at peoples daily emotions. A story to be told that you are not alone, a pick me up, a supportive and held space for you. When I was unwell, all I wanted was for someone to tell me I was going to be ok, and to guide me in the right direction. Some people really don't want therapy and so I provide these free meditations for everyone to listen anonymously.

Not sure the cat is ready to let any face to face clients share the meditation snug yet. A huge welcome back to my lovely face to face clients, some who have waited over a year to have a face to face session. It’s been a delight and it was a good incentive to tidy my office 😆. Zoom sessions still happening too so it’s a lovely mix.
