Mica Armstrong

Mica Armstrong Energetic practitioner, coach and ceremonial host. B.Sc. M.Sc. Certified Healer 🇬🇧🇳🇱 I was never religious, but spirituality brought me on a journey like no over.

Born and raised in a Viking-founded town in North England, I spent my childhood and teenage years understanding my feelings around religion and spirituality. I began awakening to my extended senses more seriously in 2012: recognising the colours I’d seen as a child were no hallucination, experiencing premonition dreams, communicating with the energy that was around me. Exploring and learning alone

, it wasn’t smooth sailing, but by 16 I’d unknowingly been experimenting with energetic healing techniques on my cat. Soon after, the Universe had brought me to my first guru, she took me on as her student immediately after recognising my unique abilities. After helping me to glimpse into the extent and potential of my gifts, alongside healing my own wounds, my guru and I spoke of going into business together. I had to break the news and reject the amazing opportunity, informing my guru that I would be leaving the UK to study abroad. From then on, my academic journey lifted off and I obtained my Bachelor of Science in European Public Health, and my Master of Science in Health Education and Promotion. I realised I’d gone full circle. My degree’s had shown me a gap in Public Health, they’d systematically confirmed the schemes of Big Pharma, and ultimately, they’d shown me the fundamental failures in the field of health as a whole. Prompting me back to where I’d begun, the positive solution I could see: energetic healing. An approach to health that is tailored to the individual; takes into account the complexity of health issues; and sees health as more than just absence of disease. For me, energetic healing changed my whole perspective on life. I went from being a non-functioning helpless victim, governed daily by my trauma responses, to an independent commander of my own life and energy. "We are part of a continuum, we are part of a symbiosis."

Tonight is the second New Moon in December making it a Black Moon. Take a deep breath, you’ve made it to the end of a hectic year. The Celts and the Druids seen a Black Moon as a time of great changes and an omen of a big event coming. The Romans and Greeks seen a Black Moon as a symbol of good luck. The last month has been very hard for many of us but things will start to settle down now and fall into place. When a Black Moon happens it amplifies the effects the New Moon usually has over us, our emotions will be heightened, our intuition will be on high alert. It also heightens the magical affects of the Moon which is why this is also known as the Witches Moon, in fact the Black Moon isn't a scientific term at all it is a very ancient term used in witchcraft.

Tonight the New Moon in the sign of Capricorn. This New Moon is one of the most significant as it is the final New Moon of the year and will be starting energies for the year ahead and is going to help blow away the cobwebs of 2024 once and for all. 2024 was a year of endings astrologically, which means that 2025 is going to be a year of new beginnings. This death and rebirth cycle is playing out in all of our lives in some way or another and in the coming weeks you will start to feel the “rebirth” occurring. This rebirth energy won’t fully shift into gear until the Full Moon in about 2 weeks, however this New Moon is definitely going to start setting the wheels in motion.

A new cycle is beginning for you. The Capricorn New Moon can empower you to move in a bold direction. You may break free from bad habits and relationships. You are no longer distracted by fear and doubt. You are ready to be who you were born to be. This is a time of great luck, so go out and try new things, use this lucky time to grow businesses, start new jobs, start new education, learn a new skill, find a new love. Change what isn’t working for you. Often when things don’t feel good in our lives we want to change everything all at once, but just take small steps, just change one small thing at time.

Our emotions will be heightened for the next few days and can be confusing, we may be feeling happy and overjoyed one minute then sad and crying the next. You may have problems sleeping and you may have weird and vivid dreams. Our nerves may be on edge and arguments and misunderstandings could flare up. But don't worry this will pass soon. This is our body, mind and spirit aligning the transformations happening now.

Don't shy away from hard work or challenges right now they can bring big rewards. If you start to see your challenges from a different perspective, you will see your challenges as opportunities for growth, they keep your life fresh and lively. Your life can be much freer than you may have realized. New opportunities will emerge for you. Believe in your dreams coming true. Believe when you wish upon a star your wish will be granted. The star is shining on you right now. The New Moon is opening up a new pathway for you. Perhaps it was there all along and now your eyes are opened and you can see it.

This New Black Moon will strengthen the impact for change. Don’t allow anything to hold back your dreams and desires. Listen to your intuition, because your intuition is your inner knowledge, allow your higher self to guide you to new starts and goals. Sudden unexpected opportunities can come to you from out of the blue at this time, seize them and make the most of any opportunity that comes your way.

There are new perspectives to be enjoyed now and this New Moon reminds us that no matter how far we may have strayed from where we want to be we can always get back there as long as there is hope and the will to move and grow.

Capricorn is ruled by the element of Earth, use the energy of this New Moon to allow us to plant seeds in the earth and in our minds and spirit to grow over the coming year. 2025 is going to be a challenging but amazing and lucky year, so take this moment to enjoy the new vibration and the fresh start that this New Moon offers.

Have a Blessed New Moon and may the Goddess watch over you.

Today is Autumn Equinox also known as a Pagan holiday called Mabon when night and day are at equal length, it is mainly a harvest festival, it is the last harvest before winter comes. In old times it would be a time to start stocking up on fruit, wheat, corn and grain for the winter months ahead.

This is a time of transformation, The great wheel has turned as we pass into a new season and say goodbye to Summer. The earth is going through a major shift, where darkness will now start to take over light as the nights slowly start to get longer and days get shorter. Cold will slowly start to take over warmth and death will start to take over life as plants will wilt and trees will start to lose their leaves, fields will become baron and grey. wild animals will start to hibernate and gather food for the winter months.

Mabon is a time of thanksgiving, we thank the God and Goddess for all that we have and thank them for the harvest we see before us. The sap of trees returns back to their roots deep in the earth, changing the greens of summer to the fires of autumn, to the flaming reds, oranges and golds. We are returning to the dark from whence we came. The Goddess is radiant as Harvest Queen and the God finally dies with his gift of pure love with the cutting of the last grain, he will descend into the underworld, his last day on earth will be Samhain when a gate will open between our world and the underworld making the veil between our two world become thin.

We enjoy the abundance of fruit and vegetables at this time. It is customary to make stews made with root vegetables and to bake home made bread and pies, we would have a big family meal and invite friends and neighbours to join us, drinking cider and apple juice.

On Mabon we adorn our altars with pumpkins, nuts, corn, wheat, squash, fruits and any other seasonal fair and any falling leaves, pine cones or acorns we may find to honour the season and to thank the God and Goddess for the wealth of harvest bestowed upon us. Light candles with Autumn colours of red, orange, purple, white, brown or gold. Also candles of black and white, black to represent the God and white to represent the Goddess. The alter will bring luck and protection. When lighting the candles ask the Goddess for her blessings and the God for protection for the colder, darker months to come.

Mabon is a transition for the Triple Goddess as she goes from her mother phase to her crone phase, her final phase from her journey of the year.

The Autumn Equinox is a time of balance, of both light and dark, it is a time to look within ourselves and balance our thoughts and emotions and to find balance in our lives. To embrace our dark and our light equally as one cannot exist without the other. it is when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our personal harvests, whether they be from toiling in our gardens, working at our jobs, raising our families, or just coping with the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Mabon reminds us of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. As we go into the dark half of the year, we also know that Spring and Summer will be upon us again and life will flourish once more.

Hoof and Horn, Hoof and Horn
All that dies shall be reborn
Corn and Grain, Corn and Grain
All that falls shall rise again

May your Mabon be memorable and your hearts and spirits be filled to overflowing

Full moon blessings to you all✨

Full moon blessings to you all✨

Tonight is the Full Corn Moon named because this is a time of the corn harvests. The August Full Moon is also known as the Sturgeon Moon because this was the time when wild sturgeon and Salmon would be abundant in rivers and streams. At this time our emotions will be heightened, our senses will be sharp, things that were hidden or in the shadows can now be seen

The Full Moon tonight will also be a Supermoon. The Supermoon occurs when the Moon is the closest to the earth more than any other time of the year, making the Moon appear up to 30% bigger and brighter than usual. The Supermoon not only affects nature such as the tides and wildlife it also affects us, our emotions will be heightened, our senses will be sharp, things that were hidden or in the shadows can now be seen. A Supermoon amplifies the effects of a normal Moon, we will be feeling ultra-sensitive and emotional at this time.

If you have been feeling stuck in a situation or that everything has been standing still lately, get ready because this Full Moon will be bringing with it a wind of change. The whole of earth is going through a massive transition at the minute, Summer is fading and Autumn is coming in, leaves will slowly start to change colour on the trees, plants and flowers will slowly start dying and seeding the earth for next Spring. But at the same time crops in fields are flourishing with the harvest, fruit is now at it's most ripest. We will feel this energy of transformation, we should use it to help transform and shape ourselves into what we want to be.

There is so much happening around this Moon in terms of once-in-a-lifetime type chances. It’s as if we are all on the edge of something so big and we have to make the decision to take the path we’ve always taken, or to jump into the territory of new possibilities.

This Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius it is about celebrating our individuality, our little quirks that make us different from everybody else. Let your creativity come out. Do something a little different, dress a little differently, wear your hair a little differently, rebel against the norm. Take a walk on the weird side of life.

Our minds will be clear and uncluttered around now, we will be able to see things as they really are, we can take off our rose tinted glasses and take a good look at ourselves and the world around us as it is and not how we want it to be. This will also have us asking ourselves if we are happy with where we are and what what we're doing.

As amazing as this Moon will be and necessary, it’s going to be one that challenges us on every single level. In the build up to this lunar event we may have been feeling restless, or have had an excess of nervous energy. Our pulses may have been racing and it may have been harder for us to relax or fall asleep at night. Our spirits can sense that we are on the verge of something big, but it’s up to us to initiate change. We are on the threshold of having massive pieces of the puzzle collide or fall into place.

There may be big changes or upsets in the status quo during the next several weeks. We may find ourselves acting in ways that only a few weeks ago we never thought possible, but Aquarius is lighting a fire inside of our hearts and daring us to break the boundaries that have held us back for far too long.

While we may feel anxious at all of the possible changes being presented to ourselves, know that the universe won’t bring us anything we aren’t ready for. The truth of it is there is no such thing as the perfect time, so now is as good a time as any.

Everything that we have been going through the past year has been leading up to this Moon. It’s the time of infinite possibilities, of desires bubbling over and manifesting themselves in our lives in ways we never thought possible. No matter what has come in or out of our lives in the past few years, once in a while we are given the chance to have everything we’ve always wanted, we just have to make the choice now to not let it go.

Have a Blessed Full Moon, May the Goddess watch over you.

Hoping to have more time for business in the future, but until then, have this and happy Lughnasadh✨

Hoping to have more time for business in the future, but until then, have this and happy Lughnasadh✨

Today is Lammas, it is one of the 8 Pagan festivals throughout the year called a Sabbat. It marks the beginning of the harvest season. Corn and Wheat fields will be ripe and golden now ready for reaping. At this time spring and summer plants will begin to wither and drop their seeds that will be reborn next spring. The earth is going through a transition now where darkness is slowly beginning to take over light, nights will slowly become longer and days shorter. Death is taking over life as flowers begin to die, trees will drop their fruits and leaves will begin to change colour, cold will slowly start taking over warmth as we head into Autumn.

Today is also known as Lughnasadh (pronounced Loonasa) In Celtic times the day was a celebration of the great Sun God Lugh. The word Lughnasadh means 'Praise Lugh'. It was a time of giving thanks to the Sun God for the harvest and giving offerings of bread, corn and wheat to him. A bonfire would be built called a Lughfire where the offerings would be thrown into it.

This is also a celebration of the Triple Goddess (maiden, mother and crone) who after laying with the God at Beltane is now in her Mother Aspect and has given birth to the harvest bounty we see.

Lammas is a time of personal reflection and our own personal harvest of our actions and deeds, events and experiences, our gains and losses throughout this year. A time when we begin the cycle of reflection of that which is our life. At this time we begin to reap what we have sown for all our hard work we have put in throughout the year. Primarily Lammas is a time of thanksgiving, when we appreciate all we have in our lives and give thanks and show gratitude to the Gods and the earth for their life giving gifts.

The word Lammas means 'Loaf Mass' wheat and grains are a big part of the Lammas celebrations, share a loaf of bread with friends and family today, traditionally over a stew of seasonal vegetables. If you are feeling adventurous you can try to bake some bread, there is nothing like the smell of fresh bread on Lammas.

The God of the waxing Sun is the living Spirit of the corn or grain. As the corn is cut so the God (The Green Man) is cut down also. He surrenders his life so that others may be sustained by the grain, so that life can continue. He is both eaten as the bread and is then reborn as the seed returns to the earth. Death and rebirth. Everything dies and everything is reborn. This is our whisper of immortality and the wonderful bittersweet of Lammas.

On our alter we should put harvest grains and ripe fruit to honour the season and as an offering to the God and Goddess. Also add fresh bread, any fallen leaves and nuts are also traditional. Make a corn dolly or a wheat dolly and put it in the central part of your home to bring luck, protection and prosperity for the rest of the year.

Lammas is a time of excitement and magic. The natural world is thriving around us, and yet the knowledge that everything will soon die looms in the background. Now It is a good time to rid yourself of all that is old to allow in the new.

Hoof and horn,
Hoof and horn,
All that dies shall be reborn,
Corn and grain,
Corn and grain,
All that falls shall rise again.

Lammas Blessings, may the God and Goddess watch over you.

A Spring Equinox Poem by Nicky Martin
Wishing you all a Spring Equinox filled with life and sunshine, blessed be

You will hear often the importance of consistency. And sure, consistency is important. But if consistency becomes a harmful pressure that contributes to your deterioration... is it really worth it?
I'm reminded of my biggest annoyance during obtaining my degrees in Public Health and Health Education and Promotion. "How is it logical that our individual health is pushed to the side under the burden of deadlines and excessive readings? How is it possible for me to work to the best of my ability when my wellbeing is not in the foreground?"
When our wellbeing is in the foreground, we might be faced with paradoxical advice. Ultimately, it always comes back down to listening to ourselves, hearing those voices we undermine that are there to guide us. The answers always being held within the self, portrayed by the signs waving in our environments.
BACK AGAIN, and this time without wasteful pursuits. Time is precious, and to live yours in good health and wellbeing will always be fruitful.

🫖Taking care when you're sick🫖

The winter cold finally caught up to me over the last week. I don't get sick often, which I generally put down to taking good rest, keeping my diet healthy, and the various healing work I'm doing. But- when illness strikes, the only option we have is to take care of ourselves and aid the healing process.
I never really have anything special in the house to treat illness... I sit drinking cup of hot tea after cup of hot tea😅 so, I thought I'd take this opportunity to share my favourite tea ingredients for sickness!

Thyme: for soothing coughs
Ginger: for helping the circulatory system & supports digestion
Cinnamon: for soothing stomach upset & helping reduce nausea
Cardamon: for supporting digestion & soothing stomach upset
Turmeric: for reducing inflammation & muscle soreness
Black Pepper: always add a tiny bit with your turmeric to greatly enhance the turmerics effects
Peppermint: for fevers/to encourage sweating as a cleansing mechanism & supporting digestion

Of course, there are plenty of other amazing ingredients to add to your tea when sick. What are your favourite go to's?🫚🍋🌿
