Your Non-Medical Prescribing Annual Declaration is changing…

We’re making it easier for our Non-Medical Prescribers – Nurses, Midwives, Pharmacists and AHPs – to stay on top of their annual declaration confirming ongoing competence and safe prescribing practice.

As part of our drive to improve governance and streamline the process, the annual declaration is moving onto Kallidus, the trust’s Learning Management System (LMS) in the coming months.

Here’s what to expect:
• Once your details have been migrated to Kallidus, you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s time to complete your declaration.
• Simply log in to Kallidus, head to ‘Courses I Have to Do’, and complete one of the two eLearning declarations.
• Next year, you’ll get an automatic reminder 3 months before your declaration expires – no more chasing!

In addition to the above – with Kallidus, accessing CPD related to prescribing will be simpler too. You’ll be able to search for and book onto Non-Medical Prescribing CPD opportunities directly through the platform.

If you have any questions, or if you don’t receive your notification when expected, please contact healthandcareacademy@northumbria.nhs.uk
