Sitting with Kambo has always been meaningful for me but travelling to meet the tribe who work directly with the Acaté frog deepened my respect for this medicine in a way words barely touch.
To witness the relationship between the people and the frog the care, the balance, the reciprocity was profoundly humbling. The Acaté is never harmed. It is honoured, sung to, and released back into its home. The frog is family, not a resource.
Knowing that what I share is ethically sourced, and that the traditions behind it are alive and protected, fills me with immense gratitude.
This work is not just a treatment.
It is a living bridge between humans and nature.
A reminder of how we are meant to be in relationship with the Earth and all her beings.
Every time I sit with Kambo now, I feel the heartbeat of the jungle, the songs of the tribe, and the spirit of the Acaté moving through the experience.
