Meet Ziggi - a beautiful spaniel puppy who came to see me with a soft tissue injury, which caused her to limp on one of her back legs.

Ziggi and her owner worked really hard on her rehab, and now Ziggi can get back to all of the usual spaniel pup activities! 😁

Wishing Ziggi all the best with her future career in agility as she grows up. ⭐️

The sudden proposed closure of The Queens Veterinary School & Hospital, Cambridge will be a huge loss for pet owners across East Anglia!

Although I’ve been fortunate enough to not need them for any of my pets yet, it’s peace of mind knowing we have them over in Cambridge should we need them, and I’ve rehabilitated many dogs over the years who wouldn’t still be here without them!

I’ve submitted my statement. If you wish to show your support too, particularly if they have saved your pets life, I’ve attached the link here.

Bob the border collie is a fine example of what can be achieved with dedication to regular physio exercises.

Bob started having regular physiotherapy in 2023 for hip dysplasia and back pain, and we worked on getting him more comfortable and building up the muscles in his back legs.
He then went down to maintenance checks and his owner has continued with doing his exercises regularly, and on a recent check we found that he has maintained the same muscle bulk in his back legs for 2 years now! He has also been enjoying his walks and participating in scent work.

Bob is proof that dogs can still lead a fulfilling & comfortable life with conditions such as hip dysplasia when it is managed correctly.

Well done to Bob and his owner! 🥇

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄

I just wanted to say a big thank you for your continued support throughout 2023!

My dog Bailey will now begin his ‘big brother training’ as I step into Maternity Leave, and I shall very much miss all of my current dog clients, until returning later next year.

I have got very good physio cover in place at both practices for whilst I am away, so if you need a physio appointment for your pet please contact the reception at either:

Taverham Vets, Longwater Lane: 01603 747344
Westover Vets, North Walsham: 01692 403202

They will be happy to get you booked in. 😊

We now need to check for ‘birch sugar’ rather than just ‘xylitol’ in foods such as peanut butter, before giving it to our dogs in kongs etc, as it is highly toxic to dogs! ⚠️
