We are starting to take bookings for our First Aid courses. We can run courses that work to your covid compliant arrangements in your own business premises, school, organisation or we have access to many training venues.

I am very proud to be the Honorary President of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team. A great bunch of volunteers who are very professional on their role and available 24/7 365 days a year.
They are crowdfunding to replace their 14 year old command vehicle. It is an ambitious target to raise £80k so of you are able to donate please do and also help by sharing this post far and wide. Thank you.

We personally know FERN and the lovely people behind it. Listening to Boris and his support for higher education for all I would also like to see support for our children learning basic life skills - how to care and enjoy the outdoors, environmental protection, cooking. Despicable behaviour, let’s hope the culprits are identified. Defibs are life savers and should be safeguarded within our communities.

We are sad to report that the practice defibrillator, kindly donated to the practice, was stolen from us in August 2020. The practice has reported this to the police and has been examining CCTV footage. Needless to say if we had a cardiac emergency at that time the outcome may be different without the defibrillator. We replaced the device within 24 hours of the theft but please, if you are aware of any information regarding this, let us or the police know.
