This is a remarkable story of one of the charities we work with and many of you support . The charity began with a kidnap and after 20 years of volunteer work the couple who started The Funzi and Bodo Trust both got MBEs in the new year honours list - read their story here: https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/community/the-funzi-and-bodo-charity-gun-point-5465034

Ashley Peatfield had just overseen the opening of the first medical clinic in the Kenyan village that he had vowed to help when he was kidnapped and taken prisoner at gun point.
