We'd like to spotlight one of our chosen charities, Kidney Research Yorkshire.

For over 50 years, Kidney Research Yorkshire has been supporting vital research into kidney disease and working to raise awareness about its risk factors. Kidney disease is a silent killer, with over 3 million people in the UK suffering from it right now.

An estimated 1 million of those 3 million don’t know they have it, and there is no cure.

You can support Kidney Research Yorkshire by clearing out your unwanted clothes and donating them to us here at Bag2Charity. We'll donate a percentage per kilo donated to us 🙌

We'd like to share some information about one of our chosen charities, The Children's Air Ambulance 🚑

The Children’s Air Ambulance is a national service which is operated by The Air Ambulance Service. They rely entirely on donations - each mission costs £3,600 👀

They are changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care of critically ill babies and children, and flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care. The helicopter is specially designed to fly and provide intensive care for babies and children 🧒🚁

The charity will receive £200 for each tonne of clothing that is collected for them 🙌

Bag2Charity is proud to be partnering with Human Appeal in the Wrap Up Campaign, running until summer 2025. Together, we’re collecting clothing across 20+ UK cities - including Manchester, Bradford, Oxford, York, and more.

We're supporting shelters, refugees, and families in need this winter.

Last week, our crew and Airdesk team worked alongside the incredible clinical team at Embrace to carry out an incubator transfer for a patient in just 22 minutes by air.

That same journey would have taken 1 hour 51 minutes by road, which shows just how important this service is for delivering urgent care.

These missions are only possible because of your continued support.
