Repost from
・・・
Our ancestors had a profound way of dealing with P.T.S.D. It was believed that after a w.ar...when a man had returned from war, before he could be accepted back into society. He had to live with a shaman for 3 months to do some spiritual cleansing. It was said that after war, the h.uman spirit was off balance and required to undergo some r.itual in order to restore it back in harmony with nature and the community. A horn was used to draw out stagnant and dsyfunctional blood to the surface. This is one of the r.itual that was performed on the worriors to cleanse them of any mental illness and trauma that they might experience later on in life after the war. This process was carried out by Africans long ago before it was allegedly deemed a C.hinese invention. It was called "African suction cup," by the colonizers. This is one of the many practices that have been lost due to African s.lavery and colonization.

Collagen
Found naturally in your body and plays a crucial role in you body with:

* Protecting, smoothing and hydrating your skin to ensure that it remains elastic and firm.
* Important structural role in the building blocks of your cells.
* Holds together the cells in your connective tissues, while helping your body naturally produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
* Keeping your skin, muscles and soft tissues hydrated and taught.
* Collagen also plays an important role in building keratin, the primary protein in hair and nails which is also responsible for maintaining the health of your muscles, cartilage, bones, joints, gums, teeth, blood vessels and internal organs.
* Why Do We Lose Collagen As We Age?

Around your mid 20s your natural collagen production levels slow significantly, which can lead to early signs of ageing such as dehydrated skin, fine lines, sagging, and wrinkles.
This lack of natural collagen also causes us to lose the skin elasticity, radiance and plumpness that we’re all so keen to hang onto as we get older.

Types Of Collagen:

Marine collagen is sourced from fish, which is absorbed more efficiently into the body and considered to be a better option for skin because it offers superior bioavailability over other types.

Type 1:
Widely considered to be the most potent form of collagen and the one most found in beauty & skin supplements and is the type naturally found in your skin. This means it's usually the one to pick your goal is to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin elasticity and hydrate your skin.

Type 2:
The one found in the majority of the protein molecules found in your cartilage, which is the connective tissue that protects your bones, spine and eyes. Usually sourced from chicken or cattle (bovine), type 2 is the one to go for when it comes to supporting healthy joints.

Peptide:
Is a short chain of amino acids.
The amino acids in a peptide are connected to one another in a sequence by bonds called peptide bonds.

Peptides are smaller versions of proteins. Many health and cosmetic products contain different peptides for many uses, such as their potential anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, or muscle building properties.

Benefits:
* Vital component of healthy skin.
* Facilitate faster wound/ joint healing.
* Reduce inflammation and act as antioxidants, which can improve the body’s ability to heal.

Got Allergies?
How Cupping Complements Acupuncture for Immunity and Detoxification:

Cupping creates a strong suction which increases circulation, draws out toxins, and generally improves qi (energy) flow and helps draw out toxins, remove stagnant energy, and clear out phlegm and other blockages that affect breathing.
The lungs are simultaneously soothed and stimulated, as this method increases blood flow and oxygen to the area for rapid healing and recovery.

Allergy-specific cupping sessions typically treat:
• Asthma
• Congestion
• Phlegm
• Sinus issues
• Excessive coughing
• Excessive sneezing
• Headaches

In addition, cupping is reported to boost immunity, which may help you avoid coughs, colds, and allergies altogether!

What is Lactic Acid and how to get rid of it…?

When you exercise at high intensities, your body increasingly relies on fast-twitch muscle fibers to generate power. But these fibers in particular don’t have the capacity to use oxygen as efficiently.

So, in a heavy workout — like when you’re lifting heavy weights or pushing your cardio limits with pads — the demand for ATP is high, but oxygen levels are low.

When that happens, glycolysis becomes anaerobic. In anaerobic glycolysis, the end product of glucose breakdown is lactate. This results in higher levels of circulating lactate in the bloodstream.

The burn you feel when you’ve maxed out your performance is a result of the circulating hydrogen ions left over in your cells, which create an acidic environment, along with phosphates — additional byproducts of muscular metabolism!

HOW TO GET RID OF LACTIC ACID??

Basic health advice such as staying hydrated during exercise will help keep your body functioning optimally.

During recovery periods such as between sets, or even during your set, taking deep breaths can increase the oxygen delivery to your blood, potentially increasing lactate clearance.

What is preevent massage and what you will be expecting from

A pre event massage is usually not more than 15/20 minutes in duration. The pace of the massage will be stimulating and brisk and we would like to bring warmth to the superficial tissue of the body and increase blood flow to the deeper muscles. A good approach is to run the joints through their ranges of motion to increase lubrication and then to stretch the muscles gently.

The general rule of preevent massage is that the closer the massage is to the time of competition, the less invasive it should be.

An preevent massage will be covering these techniques and effects:💪🏽😎

* Friction to create heat to warm up the superficial tissue of the muscles.
* Compression to increase blood flow to the muscles.
* Shaking or rocking of the muscles decrease excess tension.
* Tapotement to stimulate the muscles.
* Range of motion of the muscles to decrease stiffness.
* Gentle stretching to prepare muscles for the warm-up.
* Enhance performance and recovery.
* Energies the mind and body.

Postpartum massages usually includes many of the same elements of regular massages.
Women that have had a baby, and have a Massage/Dry Cupping after giving birth, will most definitely notice the numerous benefits to their body and mood.
Some benefits of massage include:

•Pain relief
•Stress reduction
•Relaxation

Whilst these are good enough reasons for anyone to want a massage, new mothers in particular may consider massage for the other specific benefits for your health during the fourth trimester.

Benefits of massage for the postpartum mom include:

1. Reduced swelling. Many mothers find that their body swells during labor. Massaging can help to redistribute water within the body and encourage the draining and circulation of excess fluids.

2. Improved milk production. For moms seeking an increase in their breast milk supply, massage can be a great way to increase circulation and the necessary hormones to make this happen, as evidenced in this 2020 studyTrusted Source.
Hormone regulation. The postpartum body is one of constantly fluctuating hormones. In addition to touch, many massages involve essential oils that may help elevate one’s mood and may encourage hormonal balance.
Reduced anxiety and depression. Many new parents experience the “baby blues” or even postpartum depression. Getting a massage can help to decrease stress contributing to these anxious and depressed feelings.

3. Better sleep. Everyone knows new parents need as much sleep as they can get! Massage can help parents relax and get their body ready for deep, restorative sleep.

If you have had a cesarean delivery, talk to both your doctor and massage therapist to be sure it is safe.
If you’ve had blood clots in your pregnancy or previously, your doctor will likely have already recommended you avoid massage. Check with your doctor when it is safe to resume massage.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a modern treatment designed to ease muscular pain. Dry needling is also sometimes called intramuscular stimulation. Its popularity is growing worldwide.

Dry needling may provide relief for some muscular pain and stiffness. In addition, easing the trigger points may improve flexibility and increase range of motion. That’s why this method is often used to treat sports injuries, muscle pain, and even fibromyalgia pain

During dry needling, we will insert several filiform needles into your skin. Filiform needles are fine, short, stainless steel needles that don’t inject fluid into the body. That’s why the term “dry” is used.
The needles will be placed in certain“trigger points” in your muscle or body tissue.

Dry needling practitioners say the needle helps release the knot and relieve any muscle pain or spasms. The needles will remain in your skin for a short period of time which is often pain free and quite relaxing.
