Today was all about texture & movement ✂️

Worked on a layered cut with soft shaping through the lengths and face frame, focusing on creating a lighter, more natural flow to the hair.We kept the length but removed weight where it was needed most — especially through the ends — to give a softer, more effortless finish.

Blow-dry to bring everything together and enhance the natural movement 💨

Really happy with how clean and healthy the hair looks after the cut — and most importantly, my client left feeling good 🖤

So happy with all these goodies — sectioning clips, tint brush, balayage/highlight boards (definitely upgrading from foil 👀), proper materials, a cutting shield for short hair, and even a little stool for extra comfort while working.
And I’m in love with the bridal accessories — perfect for those soft, elegant finishes (next week) 💍🤍

Continuation after the colour transformation ✨

To complete the look, we went in with a soft trim using a shag-inspired technique, focusing on adding texture and enhancing the hair’s natural movement 💇‍♀️

The goal was to keep the length while removing weight, creating a lighter, more effortless shape that works with the hair — not against it.

By introducing soft layers and controlled texture, the hair now has much more flow, volume, and definition without losing its natural feel 🔥
The result is a fresh, modern look that’s easy to maintain and style at home — and most importantly, the client is super happy ❤️
And for me, that’s always the most important part.

We changed a muted ash tone into a bright, luminous blonde.
The new color adds amazing dimension to these natural curls, making them look fresh and full of life.

Moving away from ashy tones was the perfect way to brighten up the whole look!

We refreshed my client’s tone into a rich mahogany brown, blending the lighter pieces with the darker base to create a more even, glossy result.
The colour now looks deeper, warmer and much more cohesive ❤️
My beautiful (and now regular!) client trusted me again — and we’re not done yet…
