🌸 Easter Egg Hunt 🐰

Northampton High School for Girls

📅 Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd April
🕙 Time Slots: 10:00am • 11:00am • 12:00pm • 1:00pm

Join us in the forest this Easter for a fun and interactive Easter Egg Hunt! 🐣
Follow the clues through the trees, take part in spring-themed games and crafts, and finish your adventure with an Easter treat at the end.

Explore the outdoors, encourage problem-solving and curiosity, and notice the signs of spring around us 🌼

What to expect:
✨ An Easter trail with clues to follow and challenges to solve
✨ Fun opportunities to look closely at the environment, spot wildlife, and learn as you go
✨ A sweet reward at the end for each child who completes the trail

Please note: This is not a regular Forest School session; it’s a relaxed outdoor adventure focused on exploration, teamwork and enjoying nature. Suitable for all ages.

Family Forest School 🪻🪵🌿
Sunday 8th March

Join me at Northampton High School for a Family Forest School session. I always LOVE our time spent here 🤎

There will be a wide range of open ended activities for all ages to access;

🍴 Mud kitchen
🎨 Nature arts and crafts
🧘‍♀️ Hammock
🦎 Pond exploration
🕵🏻‍♂️ Scavenger hunt
🔨 Tool use
⛺️ Shelter building
& more!

Weather permitting, we will hold a fire circle with something yummy to snack on. Please note I may not be able to cater for all dietary requirements, but will try my best.

These sessions are Family Stay & Play - adults must supervise and will be required to support children with some of the opportunities. There is always a brew for you; tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

B I R T H D A Y P A R T I E S ✨🎁

I get so many enquiries about parties and have been meaning to add a post for aaaaggeeessss. So here we go, you might have to zoom in to read the info page 🤣🕵🏻‍♂️

📍 Parties are typically held at Brampton HQ.
🗓️ I have to be mindful that there are often weddings at the weekends so morning parties work best on a Saturday. Sunday parties can be a little more flexible with timings.

Buds parties offer something a bit different for outdoor loving children. No giant inflatables, loud music or Britney mics, I’d make a rubbish high energy party entertainer 🕺🏻🤣

Think more free play, personalised set ups based on interests and ages, maybe a little pass the parcel if you so wish - like yer good old fashioned family and friends birthday get togethers with all the cousins and aunties round in the back garden✨🧁

Join me in a beautiful, secure woodland setting for a gentle, story-themed Stay & Play.

All the usual Buds outdoor fun, where children lead the play, with much-loved stories and folktales softly woven throughout. Shared story time will also offer an invitation to wonder, question and predict 💫

FEBRUARY STAY & PLAY
at The Spinney

Come join me at my new temporary location throughout February ✨♥️

The Spinney is a beautiful woodland space, perfect for Forest School Stay & Play adventures 🌳🌲🪵

Little explorers can enjoy all the usual magical set-ups, plus there’s a cosy wooden cabin with heating (what a luxury!!) and plenty of parking.

With 0.8 acres of woodland, children can move, create, explore and play freely. All the usual Buds fun - think outdoor kitchen, tuff tray set ups, hammock, crafts, climbing opportunities, fire pit and more.

The ground is pushchair friendly.

We kindly ask no shoes to be worn inside the cabin, but please feel free to bring slippers along to swap muddy boots 🤎

🧚‍♀️✨ Spellbound Stay & Play Sessions
27th-31st October

Step into an enchanting world of faeries, folktale, witches and wizards. We’ll have all the usual outdoor fun at HQ, with a sprinkle of magic ✨

As always, sessions will be unstructured and free-flow; offering a chance to slow down, connect, and let imaginations run wild.

❌ 👻 No big scary ghosts, ghouls or monsters around here! Think bippety boppety boo! 🪄

🧙🏼‍♀️Children are very welcome to attend in fancy dress but please be aware they may end up muddy and wet from playing outdoors so machine washable costumes are advised! Even the most advanced wizards and witches can get mucky and feel the cold so please layer up.

☕️ There’s always a cuppa for you to help yourselves to in The Barn - feel free to bring your own flask.

📕✨ We will end the session (weather permitting) with a magical story circle.

✨🌳 West Northamptonshire BIPC Grant Winner!

🚀 I applied and wow, I won! Me, catapulted into the world of self employment just this spring. Only a select few businesses in West Northants were chosen to receive this grant, so I feel incredibly proud and grateful that someone else sees the value and potential reach my little micro-business can achieve.

🌱 This grant will undoubtedly help BUDS grow throughout my first year of trading. Whilst I’d love to have invested in some super cool play equipment, I’ve been sensible and put it towards rental costs, I mean who is this grown up woman!?

🤓 The BIPC programme has not only supported BUDS financially, but provided me with access to invaluable webinars run by industry experts; a total game changer for someone who is new to business. I think secretly we’re all winging it, right? But their webinars genuinely gave me confidence in building the business side of things (finances, marketing, business planning etc.)

✨ Thank you BIPC for supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow and learn.

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund

A huge thank you to for funding this mornings wonderful Forest School session at lovely site. We had so much fun whittling sticks, building bow and arrows, creating clay animals, decorating fairy doors, mixing potions and so much more!
