Woolly Wellness Woolly Wellness brings the benefits of sheep into schools, care homes, and 1:1 sessions through animal-assisted therapy and nature-based learning.

We also create sustainable fleece products, sharing wellbeing in person and through handmade items.

So grateful to BIPC Northamptonshire for awarding Woolly Wellness a start-up grant through the Build Your Business Programme. It is so exciting to be able to use this funding towards building a website to showcase what we do and help the business grow. Beyond the funding, the belief and recognition in my vision means so much. The BIPC Northamptonshire is a truly fantastic organisation, offering incredible free support to local businesses through workshops, expert one to one advice, market research and guidance around intellectual property. I am so delighted to be part of a network that genuinely invests in small businesses and local growth in Northamptonshire.

Looking back on our Christmassy visit to meet the staff at Whitehills Primary School! Such a magical evening with the fairy lights glowing and hot chocolate to hand. We had a lovely visit last week to West Haddon Primary School meeting the Nursery and Reception children! The sheep loved the visit, having so much fuss and attention and felt right at home with a big flock of sheep in the field right next to the school playground. There was plenty of conversation back and forth that’s for sure! Thanks so much to their lovely Headteacher for booking and Gemma for organising!

This is our last visit before Christmas 🎄 - we have been so lucky to have been to so many lovely settings. Thank you to everyone for making us so welcome and looking forward to getting out for more visits in the New Year. ✨

A lovely afternoon at Seagrave House Care Home. We were blessed with warm sunshine, which along with my wonderfully woolly sheep tempted so many residents outside for fresh air, chats and a good dose of woolly wellness! Loved hearing all the stories today, especially from residents who had worked on farms or came from farming families, talking about farming ‘back in the day’ and how it has changed.
Such a lovely welcoming place. Everyone was so friendly, so interested and incredibly chatty. I really enjoy our Care Home visits, they’re genuinely good for the soul. Thank you Hayley for inviting us to Seagrave House, we can’t wait to come back in the spring time with some lambs!

Exciting news from Woolly Wellness!
Daisy, Doris, Edie and Evie were scanned today by the amazing The Scanning Lady — and guess what? All 4 are expecting twins!
Beyond excited, and can’t wait to welcome some adorable lambs this spring.
Hopefully, these little ones will be the stars of our Woolly Wellness visits — bringing even more joy, fluff, and smiles to everyone who meets them!

I absolutely love this simple raw fleece craft activity to do with children!

The perfect place to find raw fleece is out on a walk — look for a field with sheep and check along the fences. You’ll often find little tufts of fleece where the sheep have brushed up against them.

Simply slide the fleece into a dolly peg and hang it from a tree branch — perfect for birds to collect and make snuggly nests!

Such an easy, hands-on way to connect with nature and care for our feathered friends.

These were a big success with the children at New Horizons Academy last week. There are going to be some very cosy nests around Northamptonshire this spring!
