It’s World Breastfeeding Week and if you’re a new mum, we salute you 💪! During this time, it’s important not to be too hard on yourself and remember that any excess weight gained during pregnancy occurred over nine months for the most fabulous reason 🤱, be realistic about how quickly you might lose the weight and not to put pressure on yourself to spring back into your pre-pregnancy jeans.
If you choose to work on your health goals as a new mum, then feeling supported as part of a community (that understands!) can help. My Slimming World groups in Gravesend or Northfleet will be ready to support you, with open arms, if you feel the time is right for you.
