Calling all Tarporley High Street businesses – do you have a spot for a lovely hanging basket?

To help brighten up the high street, the Tarporley Freemasons have generously donated funds for a bunch of beautiful hanging baskets, lovingly created by the team at Petty Pool in the Community, based in Sandiway.

You might have noticed some of them popping up around the village already – they’re looking great! We’ve still got three left to give away, and we’d love them to find a good home.

If you’ve got space outside your shop or business and fancy one, just drop us a message and we’ll sort out delivery.

Let’s keep Tarporley blooming!

We had the joy of spending a beautiful sunny day at the stunning Chirk Castle with our Petty Pool in the community members.

From exploring the grand halls to strolling through the beautiful gardens, the visit was filled with smiles, laughter, and new experiences. It was more than just a day out — it was a celebration of inclusion, friendship, and shared discovery.

Huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Chirk Castle for making us feel so welcome.

Recently our incredible gardening team came together to transform Delamere Train Station into a floral masterpiece! 🌺✨to celebrate Rail 200.

In 2025 we are celebrating 200 years since the birth of the modern railway and our team were determined to showcase this in style.

With passion, teamwork, and a whole lot of green thumbs, they planted red and white begonias in a '200', bringing a burst of colour and joy to every commuter’s day. ❤️🤍

This project is a beautiful reminder that accessibility and creativity go hand in hand, and that everyone deserves a space to grow — in the garden and in the community. 🌱💪

The museum tour was a highlight, where we learned about Liverpool's rich history and saw their impressive trophy collection.
