I will do home visits, working in the clients own home if they cannot come to see me.

Just had a great 2 day refresher in Fincley, London, whilst volunteering as a helper on the latest Restore Oncology Course. Lovely group. Nice dynamic. Super venue!

Now back from China. A v brief summary would be ' Interesting trip but I won't be rushing back'! Had a massage myself whilst I was there & concluded it was probably a mixture of trigger point & Bowen but regardless, I was jolly pleased when she stopped! 😬🤐
Looking forward to welcoming any new clients, in particular for scar work where I can now offer laser treatment and myofascial release as well ss my Restore Therapy oncolgy training techniques to help with corded or tightened tissues 😀

35 years in nursing & I never knew about Fascia..what an omission in most medical & alĺ nurse training.

Thoroughly enjoyed my surprise birthday breakfast at work today with my lovely colleagues from the Central Norfolk lymphoedema team. Went to Harry's Soul Bar which i can highly recommend.

My birthday present to myself will be the purchase of a Photizo low level light device to use on scars but also on stubborn areas of swelling 😁

Attended the MOH webinar on Managing Lymphoedema in the Male client group yesterday.

The main message that I took from it is that, although Lymphoedema United is not exclusively for men, it was set up by a 40 yr old man. If you go on the 'Meet the Members' page, a lot of the stories on their are from men.

If you are a male with lymphatic swelling or you are a therapist looking to signpost male clients for further psychological support rhen I commend you to check out Lymphoedema United .
