Another busy week here at The Herons, we've had carpet bowls, dominoes, relaxing with some colouring, a visit from The Chetwynd School choir to sing for us, Sophie from Gfitness with some light exercise 💪🤸‍♀️ a visit from Lilly (Becky's guinea pig) and a trip to the pet shop and park with a break for a coffee for Janice ☕️

On Friday we bought the seaside to the Herons 🏖⛱️
What a fantastic day we all had, the residents absolutely loved getting their feet wet and the feel of the beach on their toes 🥰
Special thanks to Mandy and the team for making the day so brilliant 👏
We had everything that the seaside has to offer, traditional fish and chips, pimms and lemonade and even a visit from the ice cream van, the beautiful shells were hand decorated by our fabulous residents 🐚🍦🌞

What a scorcher we have been having 🌞
To keep cool we have been enjoying lots of ice lollies🍦 fresh salads and plenty of fruit and cold drinks, we've enjoyed a trip to Spring Lakes Water Sports for coffee and yummy cakes, for music week we tested our fantastic residents musical talents with a wide range of instruments, the amazing Andrew from the local Methodist church visited to conduct a service, we've had children from the school come to read and chat to our residents, a pamper with Nails by Katie, bubble fun with Kiddleydivey East Midlands, Matthew spent some time on the Rainbow table, we've musical bingo, painting and lots more fun 🥰
