✨🥂 We rang in the New Year in the best possible way — with music, shared memories, and a celebratory glass of wine, baileys and plenty of sherry! Seeing the residents and staff enjoying the moment reminded us how special our Heron’s family truly is. Wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful, and healthy New Year ❤️

We have been getting into the Christmas spirit these last couple of weeks 🎄, we have had a carol service where we were joined by the one and only father Christmas 🎅
The entertainment providers visited for a Christmas variety show 🎄🎶
The fantastic volunteers from approach personnel came to host a bowls tournament, with Jackie winning on this occasion🥇
We have had our weekly service with our new Chaplain John ⛪️

What a great day we had today at the Fayre, on the first initial count it looks like we have raised over £900 which is fantastic (this includes the money raised from the silent auction, we will contact the highest bidders on Monday to arrange collection and payment)

Last week we had our Bonfire night activity, a talk about the history of The Gunpowder plot, some bonfire night reminiscing and into the garden for sparklers🎆🎇
We had a beautiful afternoon with a few of the children from our neighboring school, the children read their books then we had a nursery rhyme sing-along with our residents and the children which was just lovely 💗
We also made the 2nd of our Christmas cakes today, great team work from our ladies who are looking forward to tasting their creation 🎄
