In Mind Flow we move intentionally with the breath, flow through asanas to set us up for a guided meditation and breath work to calm the nervous system.
We cover all ground in the meditations.
Some weeks we have tears, other weeks we find clarity and perception + other times we feel free of our thoughts and calm the monkey mind.
Itโs a beautiful class where we focus on ourselves and our healing. Taking care of the body and mind as one.

FLOW TO KING PIGEON ๐โจ
Or, Eka Pada Rajakapotasana. I donโt think itโs a secret that this is one of my favourite asanas (how many posts have I done in this asana? ๐๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ)
I worked hard trying to get to King Pigeon, coming up with sequences that included asanas that supported King Pigeon, as well as challenging myself in my practice.
King Pigeon is a back bend, hip opener + a heart opener. It opens up the chest, challenges your balance, stretches the hip flexors, strengthens the back and the neck + stimulates the abdomen ๐ oh and is also connected to the throat, sacral + root chakra ๐ซ
The asanas I always include you when practicing King Pigeon are:
โจ Uttana Shishosana (puppy pose)
โจ Urdhva Mukha Shvanasana (upward facing dog)
โจ Dhanurasana (bow pose)
โจ Utthan Pristhasana (lizard pose)
โจ Ardha Kapotasana (half pigeon pose)
โจ Mermaid
Save for later + give it a go. ๐

It feels like itโs been weeks since I did a good self practice. Now that Iโm a teacher, ive found that every time I practice Iโm in โwork modeโ thinking about sequences to teach, how I could do something differently or just thinking about the upcoming classes instead of just being in the moment.
This is the first time in what feels like a long time where Iโve just flowed & reflected how I feel on the mat; I heard other teachers talking about this problem before I was qualified & I thought โthat would never happen to meโ but it has. ๐คฏ but today I had that break through & had a lovely practice and felt exactly what I needed to. โค๏ธ
