We really were spoilt for choice at the weekend, our much joy ahead markets always promise high quality, variety and a good dollop of joy too - there were so many things to bring a smile - who knew what was missing from my life was a small clay house, but it has brought me joy every day since!

We’ll be back to do it all again 29th November, with new stalls and some familiar faces again for more shopping small, community & joy to get you all set up for Christmas 🎄 🥰

Our biggest market yet last Saturday — over 30 incredible makers (some for the very first time!) 🎉🛍️
Shopping small means discovering something special every time — great people, amazing creativity, and a whole lot of joy.
We’re still smiling, and we’re already counting down to the next one. So much joy ahead! 💛🌟

Tomorrows Summer There is Much Joy Ahead Market promises to be a real corker. St Leonard’s Community Centre is located opposite Wollaton library and next to the Wollaton Royal British Legion in the heart of Wollaton with over 30 amazingly talented makers, our wonderful much joy ahead community & the perfect excuse to escape the heat in our air conditioned market.❄️😎

There is free parking to the rear of the community centre you can use or why not combine a trip to the market with lunch or a walk in the shade of the trees at Wollaton Park - it could be a really lovely day out 💕

You can be sure of a warm welcome (with an air con induced chill ❄️😎) to our much joy ahead community - Look forward to seeing you ☺️

Where do I start with telling you about the wonderful Nicki & Lou & .
These ladies have a wonderful eye for vintage finds & also a real heart for sustainability, upcycling & turning fabrics into beautiful things - their scarves I know will be incredibly popular- think summer evening cover ups & their fabulous new foraging aprons - brilliant!

They are superb people to be around, warm, engaging & kind & it’s stall holders like them that make our much joy ahead community what it is 💕

After cementing themselves as part of our much joy ahead community by facilitating our super fun Pottery & Prosecco workshops, Ellie & will be returning to our there is much joy ahead summer market — this time with her own handmade ceramics.

All handmade made in Derbyshire, each piece is totally unique, and honestly just really lovely. Come have a browse, say hey, and maybe find a new favourite mug or bowl 💕
