Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe - MHTT Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe have been raising money for local charities for over 40 years

Our Troupe has now been running since 1979, raising money for local charitable/worthy causes that benefit our Mansfield Community. Since that time, we have already raised over £150,000 donating to amongst others;
Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance; Framework (The Homeless Centre); Portland College; Link Club 2000; Riding for the Disabled; Jigsaw Support Team; Kings Mill Hospital (various wards and departments) and many more…. Through our annual pantomime at The Palace Theatre, our target is to donate approximately £5,000 to charity each year, plus we offer quality family entertainment to audiences drawn from both local residents and beyond.

⭐️Jack and the Beanstalk Raised £4,500!⭐️
The annual MHTT Presentation Evening was held at Rainworth Village Hall on Friday. This is always a great evening to celebrate our hard work and to donate the profits of the show back into local good causes.

🎭✨ A Fond Farewell to Our Beloved Dame ✨🎭

At our annual Presentation Evening, the Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe marked the end of an era. We had the honour of celebrating and thanking the legendary Trev 'The Dame' Brownley, as he officially retires from the stage.

For three decades, he brought magic, mischief, and a whole lot of heart to our productions — raising spirits, lifting audiences, and helping us support our local community in true panto style. His presence has been a cornerstone of our troupe, and his larger-than-life characters have left a legacy that will echo in our memories (and dressing rooms!) for years to come.

Thank you, Trevor, for everything you’ve given us. The wigs may be off, but the curtain never really falls on a star like you. 💐💖

We're thrilled to share some fantastic photos from our January–February run of Jack and the Beanstalk! 🌱✨ A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to support us. We had a fabulous time on stage.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Peter Darnell for creating a truly fabulous dame's dress for us this year. We needed a dress to use for our promotional materials, and we loved it so much we took it to the stage too! You can see the hard work he put in to helping us in the picture of our wonderful Dame Plump. Thank you

Today we get to celebrate all things theatre!

As a local group, we are incredibly proud to be part of this community and to be able to perform every year and bring some fun. Our passion for the theatre also allows us to make a difference and give back to our community as our profits go directly to local charities.

Thank you to our incredible cast, crew, volunteers, and supporters who make it all possible. And of course, thank you to all the theatre loving audience members that buy a ticket to see us year on year!

Let’s continue to celebrate the arts, spread joy, and make a difference, one performance at a time. 🎬❤️
