Heads up for Collagen+ 🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙

I’m hoping that those of you trialling this along with us are remembering to take your photos and record how you’re feeling. I know it’s early days for us all. Other countries have been using it longer than us. It’s still new to the UK.

I’ve been taking it for just over 2 weeks. My skin is always good thanks to our clinic Signature Range products but I actually feel it’s a little plumper! My new knee has a little more movement too. REIKI HEALING

Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of energy healing, offering a life enhancing wellbeing solution for everyone. It is wonderful way to release ‘blockages’ of tension, stress and negative feelings.

Reiki practitioners use a health approach technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the client in order to encourage emotional, physical and mental healing.

We are very excited to introduce reiki as an alternative, holistic treatment into our clinical setting with Tracey Bradley.

Reiki cleanses body of toxins and supports the immune system. It is used to remind our bodies how to go back into the “repair” or “self-healing” state of rest and digest. By triggering this state, our bodies begin to cleanse themselves of useless energies. It also allows the body to protect itself from exhaustion, burnout, or immune system failure.

Let’s talk lips….

Over the years techniques and fashions do change but over filling like this is clinically unsafe and as registered medical practitioners we do not want to compromise your safety and our reputation.

There are many reasons people may seek a lip filler, both men and woman. Some have naturally thin lips that have caused years of concern. Others may have uneven lips or have had some kind of trauma. Then as part of the ageing process we naturally lose volume in our lips so they crease and look less moist, leaving lots of fine lines in and surrounding our lips.

Omicron & Skin Changes

We have been saddled with various variants of Covid for too long. What we are seeing in clinic for those that have been affected as some point during this pandemic are changes to the skin and nails. During the acute phase of Omicron patients are reporting symptoms of hives, chilblains, dry skin and nails. Even in mild cases there are changes to the oxygen levels in our blood which results in poor cellular regeneration. A few weeks later people are reporting brittle nails and dry skin.

CONTINUING OUR FACIAL DISCUSSIONS….

So here we have two women: one a Duchess who turns 40 tomorrow, the other our very own Hannah Craig who turns 40 in April.

They royals purport to have no injectable treatments but we have no idea if they use filters or face altering apps.

HANNAH:
Hannah has no facial app to alter her face in this picture, just make up by Holly in clinic. Her eyebrows are semi permanent makeup and there’s some remnants of toxin remaining in her face in this picture. Over the last year she has had a cheek enhancement. She uses our own Signature range of cosmeceuticals every day to keep her skin in top top shape.

KATE
Kate is fortunate enough to have whatever she needs on hand in terms of people and products as well as whatever it takes to keep her looking like the nation’s ‘darling’. Her brows look microbladed or at least lifted. You will note her left brow is always higher than her right. There is not a wrinkle in sight! Toxin or filter or just damned luck! Her cheeks remain high and sculpted. We often see ads regarding what skin care she uses but we never know for a fact.

So look closely at these picture. Enlarge them. Look for blurring. You won’t find any on Hannah’s pic but I can’t be too sure about Kate’s! At the eye corners you can see Hannah’s creases reappearing as the Tox wears off; Kate’s look air brushed and blurred.

Fake v Real

This is something a fellow aesthetics clinician shared. I thought it was particularly relevant when we see how people present themselves on social media. Some of them have so many exaggerated filters applied that they look like avatars of themselves.

We try to show you before and after pictures of our work (with patient consent) in the same light and at the same angles so that you can make an informed comparison.

You will also see pictures of our staff who look real! When choosing your practitioner look at their profile. What you see is what you get!

We will not be producing pictures like this! We will not be making our patients and clients look fake like this. Most of these could audition for Shergar 🦷🦷 horse 🐎🐎 🤣🤣
