Back-to-school season brings fresh starts, and sometimes, anxious energy. Whether it's new routines, deadlines or social pressures, these easy calming yoga poses can help teens feel more grounded and balanced:
โฐ Seated Mountain Pose: Perfect when seated at a desk (at school or home). Sit tall, feet flat, spine long. Rest hands on your thighs, close your eyes and breathe slowly. Great for refocusing and calming the mind.
๐ Bridge Pose: Lie on your back, feet flat and knees bent. Press into your feet to lift hips. Opens the chest, grounds the body and deepens the breath.
๐ธ Childโs Pose: Kneel, bring big toes to touch, knees wide and fold forward with forehead on the mat. Stretches the back, releases tension and brings a sense of calm.
โฌ Forward Fold: From standing or seated, hinge at the hips and let your head hang. Encourages quiet and calms a racing mind.
๐ Legs Up the Wall: At home, lie down and rest your legs vertically on a wall. Stay for 5โ10 minutes. This gentle inversion helps soothe the nervous system and relieve tired legs.

The Snow Moon lands in Leo this year, on 12 February.
The fire sign Leo โ which is associated with the fifth house, is also associated with creativity, romance and self-expression.
The most important thing you can do this full moon is to listen to your heart.
The full moon in Leo focuses attention on on our true selves. It's the perfect time to look deep inside yourself and reconnect with what truly matters to you. Focus on what you really want and use the full moon as an opportunity to realign your goals with your true self.

Namaste beautiful souls ๐
Namaste
means that my soul
acknowledges yours ..
not just your light,
your wisdom,
your goodness,
but also your darkness,
your suffering,
your imperfections.
It is a recognition
and acceptance of
the inexplicable
divine absurdity,
the miraculous woven
into the ordinary,
light and darkness
intimately entwined
in magical, messy
humanity.
It means that I honor
all that you are
with all that I am.
So, namaste,
my fellow travelers.
I'm so glad we're on
this trek through
the universe together ..

๐ ๐ FULL MOON BLESSINGS ๐ ๐
The first Full Moon of 2025, known as the 'Wolf Moon,' offers a chance to release old fears and set new intentions. This lunar event is viewed as a spiritual reset, providing clarity and growth. Reflecting under moonlight, writing down goals, and affirming intentions can harness its transformative energy tonight.
๐ Full moon rituals are a way to connect with the moon's energy, cultivate a sense of purpose, and promote personal empowerment. There are no right or wrong ways to participate, and you can create practices that resonate with you ๐
Donโt forget to recharge those crystals โ๐ป

Just look at this beautiful little yogi being a beautiful butterfly ๐ฆ
We practiced butterfly pose during a session at Weddington Pre School earlier this week.
We focused inside our bodies to see where we could feel the stretch, then discussed which colour butterfly we would like to be ๐ฆ
This gorgeous little yogi then showed her Grandma what she had been learning ๐๐๐
I am very grateful to be able to share yoga and all of its many benefits with children so young.
In my opinion it should be taught as part of the curriculum in every school as a way to support children to manage their well-being and ultimately their mental health.
Empowering children with techniques to cope with the stresses that life can bring is my passion ๐๐ป
Whoโs with me on this ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
SUCH a beautiful moment. One proud yoga teacher here ๐โโ๏ธ
