✨ What is Access Bars? ✨

I often get asked what Access Consciousness Bars is, so I wanted to share a little about it…

Access Bars is a gentle, hands-on therapy where I lightly touch specific points on the head. These points relate to different areas of your life such as thoughts, beliefs, emotions, stress, and control.

Over time, we can all hold onto patterns, worries, and ā€œmental noiseā€ that build up without us even realising. Access Bars works to release some of that, creating space for more ease, clarity, and calm.

Sessions are deeply relaxing — many people feel a sense of stillness, lightness, or simply a quiet mind for the first time in a while.

Everyone’s experience is different, but people often leave feeling:
🌿 more relaxed
🌿 clearer in their thinking
🌿 lighter emotionally

For me, it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where your mind and body can begin to let go of what no longer serves you.

Self-sabotage isn’t what most people think it is.

It’s not you being lazy, inconsistent, or lacking discipline.

It’s your system trying to protect you.

That voice that says:
ā€œWho do you think you are?ā€
ā€œThis is too much.ā€
ā€œYou’re going to mess this up.ā€

It can feel like it’s holding you back.

But when you start to understand it, you realise — it’s actually trying to keep you safe.

Safe from being seen.
Safe from failing.
Safe from stepping into something unfamiliar.

The problem isn’t that it shows up.
The problem is when we fight it, judge it, or let it run everything.

Because the shift happens when you start working with your system, not against it.

When you create safety in your body, not just pressure in your mind.

That’s when things begin to change.

You don’t eliminate self-sabotage.
You build awareness around it.
You learn how to respond differently to it.

And from there, a new layer opens.

More clarity.
More capacity.
More grounded action.

Not forced. Not frantic. Not from fear.

But from a place that actually feels safe to move forward from. 🌱✨

There’s a difference between attachment and love.

Attachment can hold on tightly…
sometimes out of fear, sometimes out of not wanting to lose what feels important .

But love…
love allows space.
It doesn’t grip.
It trusts.
It lets things breathe.

I’ve been learning that not everything we hold onto is love—
sometimes it’s just something within us asking to feel safe.

And when we begin to meet those parts with understanding…
that’s when things start to soften.

Something I’ve realised in my own journey…
is that every time I hit a breakthrough, I used to stop.

Not because I couldn’t do it—
but because, deep down, it didn’t feel safe yet.

And I’ve come to understand…
that wasn’t failure.

That was my nervous system trying to protect me…
in the only way it knew how.

And I think a lot of people carry shame around that…
thinking they’re going backwards…
when actually, they’re just overwhelmed.

I’m learning now not to run from that part of me…
but to stay…
and gently build a relationship with it…

and to ask, in those moments…
what does this part of me actually need?

If you’ve ever felt like you take a step forward and then question everything…
