This morning, I'm at the Chinese Community Centre Birmingham to talk about cholesterol.

Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol, which can lead to heart disease.

When diagnosed early, 9 in 10 people survive bowel cancer 💙 That’s why this we’re supporting Bowel Cancer UK’s campaign 📣

Knowing the symptoms is key to spotting bowel cancer early 👀 The earlier it’s found, the more treatable it’s likely to be 💪

📲 If you have any symptoms, contact your GP for an at-home test as soon as you can.

It's a jam-packed day tomorrow!

In the morning, I will once again be joining Home-Start Birmingham Central And South-West for Cooking with Confidence. This time, our focus will be on those with limited cooking facilities. We start with two family-friendly dishes cooked in the microwave.

In the afternoon, I'll be at The Dorothy Parkes Centre for Eat Well, Live Well in Later Life. This week's theme is bone health. We will make sausage and bean one-pot with greens, plus bread and butter pudding.

Designed by me, delivered by Sandwell Council's Choices Team.
