We get asked a lot about our group

Who we are?
We are a community run group that aims to support all children and caregivers threw social connection and play.

Would my child enjoy the group?
This is a great safe place for all children to express themselves through play, activities and fun events.

Do we only cater for children with ASD?
The answer is no we are an all inclusive group and aim to help and support all children with additional needs every child is wellcome to join the group ❤️

No better Day to set a few Goals to be accountable for being more active 🤩

1. The aim will be to 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝟭𝟬𝟬(very doable ) and you can help by liking and sharing - and to also 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

2. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟮 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸- these may be Awareness Posts based on SEN awareness days - (if you know of any coming up that you’d like to see let me know) , product Information, or free activities you can do at home with your Child 🤩 I will also link any “deals “ I think may be off use .

3. 𝗔𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀- when I tell you there is a day for absolutely everything I’m not lying - let’s use that to our advantage 🥳 there will be some fun ones that pop up 🥰 each creating a learning .

4-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆- I would
Like this page to be a little forum for our own community to come onto - interact and find some worthwhile hints and tips , of things on our own doorstep. I also believe in having the best experiences without the sometimes steep price tags .

5. 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁- this is something I’ve always aimed to do - just have never stepped out of the comfort zone.😬BUT before 2026 is over I will host at least one event, catered for our own wee community in a setting. (And group size ) that is not too overwhelming. 💕

Arvalee School and Resource Centre is organising a collection of food hampers to support families in our community who are in need — and we’d love your help!

We’re asking for donations of non-perishable food items and household essentials to help create hampers that will make a real difference during this season.

🛒 Suggested items include:
• Tinned foods (soups, vegetables, fruit, beans)
• Rice, pasta, cereals
• Tea, coffee, sugar
• Biscuits and snacks
• Toiletries and cleaning products
• Christmas treats (optional)

We are so grateful for this donation from J&K Coaches! Our volunteers work so hard to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children to be themselves. This will go a long way to help meet needs within the group ❤️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of Shauna from Shine bright and play hub call to our depot.

We recently held some fundraising in aid of our 20th Anniversary and were delighted to present Shauna with a cheque for £500

This contribution will help the hub purchase new sensory equipment, supporting the wonderful work they do. Shine Bright & Play Hub was created to offer a safe, comforting space for autistic children and their families...a place where they can play, relax, and simply be themselves.

It was a joy to support such a meaningful cause.
