Over the last year or so, I’ve actually started to notice some of these symptoms in myself too.
The early waking.
That tired-but-wired feeling.
The moments of anxiety or overwhelm that can so easily get brushed off as “just stress.”
It’s made me even more aware of how often women dismiss what their body is trying to tell them.
Sometimes it is stress.
But sometimes those changes in sleep, mood, energy, or irritability can be closely linked to shifting hormones and the body needing a different kind of support.
What’s helped me more than anything has been coming back to the simple things.
More time in nature.
Regular reflexology treatments.
Little moments of calm in the day instead of pushing through.
Listening to what my body is asking for rather than fighting against it.
It’s such a good reminder that symptoms are often messages, not something to ignore.
If any of these have been showing up for you lately, it may be worth looking beyond stress and considering whether hormone imbalance or shifting hormones could be part of the picture too.
