Next Thursday we’re doing something a little different at Men’s Walking and Talking Oswestry — and we’re really excited about it.
One of our own group members, Oliver Morrison, who is also a local author, will be sharing his powerful personal story and the experience behind his book “2020: The Year That Tried to Kill Me.” after next weeks walk.
In collaboration with our friends Café Shrooma , who are kindly opening the coffee shop specially for the evening, we will be creating a relaxed space where men can come together, grab a coffee, and listen to a real, honest conversation about mental health, resilience, and finding your way through the toughest chapters of life.
Oliver’s story is one of survival, reflection, and rebuilding — including being hospitalised during the pandemic with life-threatening health complications. Through writing his book, he found a way to process what he went through and is now passionate about helping other men break emotional silence and talk more openly about what’s really going on beneath the surface.
This evening is about raising awareness, supporting one another, and reminding men that they don’t have to carry everything alone.
📍 Location: Shrooma, Oswestry
📅 Date: Thursday 19th March 19.45pm

Men Walking and Talking making the difference.
