Good evening all! Just wanted to try and collect feedback and suggestions!

When the group first came into fruition the turnout was tremendous! Danny Evans sat on the stage with a room full of people and there were stories and experiences shared and advice and support given and supportive rapports devoloped particuarly amongst regulars!

Admittedly numbers dwindled despite at least some of those who didn't attend after the initial buzz still struggling with thier mental health. I do not underestimate the fortitude taken to turn up and walk through the doors with the possibility of being vulnerable with your emotions but I also don't underestimate the value of talking and offloading and being heard.

So to those who have attended previously and those who plan on doing so - what would you like to see implemented, what would help you attend and what barriers do you feel may be or are thier to attending?

Greetings all.

Hope you're all doing well. Just a couple of announcements:

-Their will be no group next week due to a shortage in regulars being able to attend for various reasons.

-We now finally have funding for a whole year! So we are determined to prove the group still has value and has and is making a difference.

- Thier have been requests for more social media presence and guest speakers so efforts will be made to make these things happen.

As always please message away if any questions or you need support and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as we can.

Tonight we have psychotherapist coming in to talk to us, he’ll teach us coping mechanisms, breathing techniques to help control anger and stress!☺️

We’re going to be meeting at the Fox tomorrow night at 7pm as a one off due to the normal venue being used, we have an enclosed room available at the Fox.
