Kings Manor would like to introduce you to Emma, our new lifestyle coordinator, who joins Cheryl and Angela.

Emma has been with us for 3 months and today she went above and beyond. She has been doing lots of one to one's getting to know all that live with us here. She spent time getting to know Shirley, who is an amazing Artist and has produced and sold many of her paintings. Shirley put on an art exhibition with the help from Emma and the rest of the team.

Everyone had chance to talk to Shirley about her work.

This week two of our Lifestyle coordinators, Cheryl and Angela took our MMCG raffle winner, out on her choice of a day out.

Jenny chose to spend her winnings on an updated wardrobe, and she chose McDonald's for her lunch. Jenny had so much fun choosing all new outfits and being able to have a one-to-one outing. She felt so special, just be able to do things she loved.

Cheryl and Angela were so happy she chose to let them be part of her special day!

We have had such a busy December, making, baking and tasting traditional festive favourites. We held a Yule Log competition with joint winners - we just couldn't decide between them! We also decorated Christmas tree and snowman shaped cookies.

Add to this our delicious Christmas cake and gingerbread train, which we have already told you about, and the very enjoyable, at times hilarious, Mocktail making afternoon, it's safe to say December has been a feast for the senses!

MMCG Christmas party.
We all enjoyed a message from MMCG's chief Executives.
After watching the short video, we announced the main winner of our raffle.
The winner chose a day out shopping for clothes in the new year.
Other prizes followed along with a glass of fizz and some mince pies and treats.

This week at Kings Manor, we have really got into the Christmas spirit.

We were so lucky to have a silver band come and play for us.
We have been More creative with making snow globes, mini pine cone Christmas trees, making a chimney for Santa and Christmas scratch art. We also have had so much fun with our Christmas roll and win game.

Everyone at Kings Manor would like to say a huge thank you to Catherine, who had been attending our conversation club on a Sunday as part of her work experience. We have really enjoyed her company over the past few months and we're very grateful for the delicious Ginger cake she baked for us on her last day.
