Reflection circle with Bogáta Bongya

This Reflection Circle with Bogata (urban development London) will explore the hidden wellbeing cost of always being alert, and how safety is often treated as an individual responsibility rather than a collective one.

Together, we’ll reflect on our lived experiences of Oxford, share insights, and imagine what a more inclusive, connected, and supportive city for women could look like. This will be a gentle, interactive space—less about fixing problems, more about connection, care, and community. We’ll focus on how to grow together as a community: from walks and reflection circles to mutual support, rest, and solidarity.

03:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Panel discussion: building a safer city for all women and femmes.

Join Nicole Shodunke Bogáta Bongya and a special guest to discuss strategies, success stories and envision a safer and more inclusive Oxford !

04:00 PM - 05:00 PM
Eat and mingle

Nibbles, bubbles and a chance to chat, connect and celebrate 🥳

Our website is live! It’s taken a lot of work behind the scenes (all done after the day jobs) and we are so happy it’s out. Please share far and wide, and any feedback is welcome!

Special thanks to whose grant enabled us to secure a domain and develop the site.

Every website tells a story, and we are excited to see where this one leads us, our communities here in Oxford and beyond!

Come as you are. Sharing is always optional.
Let’s reimagine safety—not as something we manage alone, but something we create together.
