Yoga with Katie student-centred yoga classes for everyone

I teach in-person yoga and online classes in Oxford.

I also work one-to-one or in small groups, as well as corporate packages. I am currently teaching an online ZOOM gentle vinyasa yoga class once a week for anyone who would like to practice yoga together from wherever they are. I teach regularly at Sunshine Yoga Club, and cover classes for Everybody Studio and Prana Studio in Oxford. How is it the last day of September? This month has gone so quickly and it feels like the seasons changed sp quickly from that summer sun, to much colder days. Here is the last little sequence in our savasana September. Maybe there is time somewhere in your week to lie down and take it slow.

Savasana September

Practicing from Wholeness

✨ You are already enough.
Rest can sometimes be a way of remembering that truth. 

This sequence is about prioritising you: opening the heart, softening the mind, and settling into gratitude.

➡️ Try it and let me know what shifts for you. Or save it for later

Sequence:

🩷Heart Supported Fish Pose – bolster along spine, arms open wide or place them around the front of the pelvis (4–5 mins)
🩷Reclined Bound Angle (Supta Baddha Konasana) – optional blanket over hips for grounding (4–5 mins)
🩷Savasana with Gratitude Scan – (8–10 mins) As you rest, bring to mind three small things you feel grateful for today. Let them settle in your heart space.

✨ Savasana September Continues

Listening Deeply - Yoga as Presence

🌿 Yoga begins with listening.

Not just listening to your breath, but to the quiet whispers of your body, your heart.

This week’s theme invites us to pause and notice, without needing to change anything.

➡️ Try this 3-pose sequence and tag me if you give it a go.

Sequence:

Seated Forward Fold with Support – bolster on thighs, rest torso (3–4 mins)

Reclined Bound Angle (Supta Baddha Konasana) – bolster under spine, blankets or bolster under knees (5–8 mins)

Savasana with Breath Awareness – optional bolste on belly for grounding (8–10 mins)

Listen to the sound of your own breath. This is the sound of your presence.
