We, at ROVR Systems, are excited to further our working relationship with the NHS by providing a ROVR Relieve solution to the Sunrise Centre, to be used in cancer services at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust.

ROVR Relieve is a system that allows easy access to VR content, using a tablet as a secondary control service. This not only makes the control navigation considerably easier, but enables assistance by another person and shared viewing of scenes - thus, fostering distraction. Additionally, over-ear headphones help deliver deeply immersive and relaxing experiences.

Our Story

We have researched and developed over the past 10 years a virtual reality motion platform (the ROVR) for use with head mounted displays like Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, StarVR, Gear VR, and Daydream spec mobile phones. - in fact any head mounted display for VR.

The ROVR allows a person of any ability and age to move freely, at will, in open VR worlds in safety for hours - at home or in an office environment and so experience real presence VR.

The ROVR is the mouse for navigating VR worlds.

Without physicality, virtual reality has a serious problem since 80% of people will feel simulation sickness if what they see does not match with what they feel.
