Your energy isn’t generic.
It’s the result of everything you’ve lived, felt, resisted, avoided, or held onto.

So your healing can’t be generic either.

Somatic work listens to your story, not a template.

Some people regulate through breath.
Others through sound or music.
Others through guided imagery.
Others through touch, movement, or grounding tools like crystals or textures.

The method doesn’t matter as much as the match.
We use whatever helps your nervous system feel safe enough to release what it’s been holding.

After more than 20 years of experience guiding others through healing, embodiment, and transformation,

I realised that every process, no matter the story, the trauma, or the symptom,

always comes back to four essential guides.

🌿 Self-Responsibility — reclaiming your power to grow instead of staying in the same story.
🌿 Authenticity — remembering who you are beneath all the layers that helped you survive.
🌿 Self-Compassion — meeting the parts of you that were born in fear with radical love.
🌿 Self-Acceptance — softening control, embracing your shadows, and allowing yourself to be whole.

These four principles are the foundation of my somatic work

a synthesis of everything I’ve learned across decades of training, practice, and life experience.

Every person I’ve worked with has been missing one (or more) of these guides.

And when we find which one it is,

The SAAS Method:

🌿 Self-Responsibility — choosing to step out of old stories and actually move toward the growth you want.

🌿 Authenticity — reconnecting with the real you underneath all the roles and habits that helped you survive.

🌿 Self-Compassion — meeting the parts of you that feel scared, overwhelmed, or tired with softness instead of judgment.

🌿 Self-Acceptance — letting go of the need to control everything and allowing yourself to be fully, messily human.

These four pieces are at the center of my somatic work.

They’re a mix of everything I’ve learned, practiced, and lived over the last 20 years.

Every person I’ve worked with is usually missing one of these.

Once we figure out which one it is… things start shifting fast.

This post is just a simple way of sharing the heart of that method,

the part that’s shaped me the most, both personally and professionally.

But your body doesn’t always feel like doing it.

You want to exercise.

Create.

Speak your truth.

Rest without guilt.

Love without fear.

But sometimes something inside just… freezes.

It’s not laziness. It’s not lack of motivation.

It’s your body trying to keep you safe.

Your mind has learned the lesson, but your nervous system hasn’t caught up yet.

Somatic work helps your body remember that it’s safe to move forward.

Safe to grow.

Safe to rest.

Safe to love again.

Because real change doesn’t happen in the mind alone.
