Dear Friends,
I’m reaching out today with deep gratitude in my heart and a renewed sense of appreciation for the incredible work we all do together.
Recently, I had to travel unexpectedly to the USA to attend to a family emergency. My nephew had been involved in a hit-and-run accident, leaving him unconscious and in critical care. This was one of the most challenging moments of my life, yet it offered me an opportunity to truly reflect on 20 years of practice and the profound impact of human kindness.
Within hours of hearing the news, I was on my way to be with my family. The journey was filled with uncertainty, but also extraordinary moments of compassion. My wonderful friend dropped everything to drive me to the airport. The British Airways staff extended their support, ensuring I felt cared for every step of the way. One assistant, asked me why I was traveling. When I shared my story, she hugged me and said she would pray for my nephew. It was such a small, natural gesture, yet it meant the world to me.
Thankfully, halfway through the flight, I received the miraculous news that my nephew had regained consciousness. In that moment, I was overcome not just with relief, but with an overwhelming gratitude for the kindness I had experienced during those difficult hours.
This journey reminded me of one essential truth: humans are inherently kind. And this kindness is at the heart of everything I strive to cultivate in my work. Whether through somatic practices, coaching, or community events, the goal has always been to co-create spaces where we all feel seen, heard, and valued.
To those of you in this incredible community, I want to say thank you. Whether we’ve worked together closely, met briefly, or shared a moment of connection, you are the reason I do what I do. The support, compassion, and humanity I’ve witnessed are truly humbling and inspiring.
Let’s continue to nurture this spirit of kindness and community together. It’s what makes life’s challenges more bearable and its joys more profound.
With love and gratitude,
Francesca x
